You scratch the glass, you can replace it.
Scratch the display and it is done.doomed to poke your eyes every time you look at it reminding you of that accident when the phone slammed on the floor.
And on phones with completely flat display the screen protector can cover the whole surface and it is almost invisible.
If you haven't noticed there is still no glass that can withstand eays of abuse, purses, pocket minerals, keys and everything else. And for that reason a glass protector is still one of the most practical things.

Screen protectors already look positively ancient, I wonder why are people still ok with them. They should demand better screens instead of buying weak screens and then protecting them, bleh.

The punch hole camera always sit under the glass ..no need to punch the glass panel... Or else it will scratches the lens.
