Wind, 16 Aug 2012I have a Galaxy S II too and a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S. I don't want to upgrade to S III ei... moreYes, but in 2 months Google will launch 5 Nexus phones with better specs than the GS3 which I agree it's very expensive.
I will like to have a HD screen and enough juice for the battery and this is where Motorola win with 3300mAh battery adding on it the build quality.
I'm a big fan of Motorola's build quality but the GS2 was the best phone overall and updating it to Jelly Bean, give it a long life. So, I can wait even 5 months before I change the phone.
no need for the gs3 ! S2 is better !

dreaming of jellybean is pointless

AnonD-1846, 16 Aug 2012Perfect, I'll keep my GS2 and not gonna buy the GS3. If this come to be true. I'm happy with m... moreI have a Galaxy S II too and a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S. I don't want to upgrade to S III either. It's too expensive (it's 600 euros in my country and I'm not buying anything above 500 euros) and microSIM pulls me away from it. I'm looking for a dual-core or quad-core phone with microSD card slot, regular SIM and a big battery (at least 1800 mAh) that launches with ICS or Jellybean. For now, Sony Xperia Acro S is on the top of my list.
AnonD-46560, 16 Aug 2012Putting jelly bean to s2 is like putting iOS 6 to iphone 3G.Please , do some , SOME research before you start your verbal diarrhea . ICS and JB are equally demanding hardware vise .
P.S. on a 1.2 GHz ARM processor with 800 MB RAM you can run a full-blown Linux distro , not a strip-down and mobility optimized one (hint (Android) .
So , don't try to think too hard , you head will explode !
AnonD-46560, 16 Aug 2012Putting jelly bean to s2 is like putting iOS 6 to iphone 3G.this offend me -,- ios6 on iphone 3g not only will slow down the ui like the ios5 did , it barely adds any feature. but jellybean ? even ios6 dont have half feature of jellybean
rcl4444, 16 Aug 2012In terms of intended features - yeah, ICS is pretty good. However in terms of OS success, its... morehmph, ICS is good, you cant compare it to vistas fail 0,0 just bacuse the long update line, because google changing the android from a deep lv thats why it took google even cyanogenmod to rewrite many thing within the system.
cant wait
