Anonymous , 05 Dec 2020That is how a lot of people lie on their resume with fake numbers as their results. I don’t understand the analogy your trying to make?
In any event, if Apple paid for this, which I don’t think to be the case, but then I don’t have the gift of being right about everything all the time like some people on here. So I’ll at least acknowledge the possibility, if they paid for this then what the hell did they actually buy?
There is nothing here Apple can use. ‘Oh hey, look our year old device now has the 21st best camera in the world, according to a site very few actually take seriously’.
Hardly money well spent don’t you think?

It is like saying,, "see if iPhone 11 itself scores 119, think about 11 Pro" sort of message.... But people are getting cleverer.....
DxOMark gets paid for testing and review. Don't believe them !

Photograhy has something to do with objectivity, and a lot to do with subjectivity. A photo can be objectively good, but subjectively bad. It's all in the eyes of the beholder. For example, photos taken by a Huawei flagship tops photography benchmarks every year, but I read several comments about how oversaturated and unreal their photos look.
I wouldn't take DxO seriously, not for the alleged bribery from certain OEMs, but for the very nature of photograhy, more subjective than objective.
Buy any phone you like. Benchmarks and scores don't matter. Make sure your favorite phone isn't faulty one with many issues.

If I were Apple, I would be asking for a refund. After all, this device still only ranks 21st (would love to see them try to market that), and they didn’t fool anybody for a second anyway.
So what exactly did the money you all apparently know for sure changed hands here buy them?
idk bro i think they should retest all phones

Actually, every smartphone that is being benchmarked at launch should be tested again after 6 months or 1 year. The fact is firmwares are vastly improved other weeks/months, especially on the photography side. DxO could update its tests more often, with each major firmware update.
Apple has grown a heart as big as the Chinese OEMs.
DXO Mark is happy, to accept their love and whatever else comes along.
The iPhone 11 does produce really well-balanced photos. Its overall image quality is much better than most Chinese flagships and Apple's ecosystem and support are worth a lot, too.
DxOMark are so out of line in their tests. Obviously they are anything but objective sometimes.

I can see it now ‘hey DXOmark, It’s the dark overlords of Apple speaking, here’s a bucket load of cash, can you move one of our previous devices slightly up the ranking list that nobody seems to care about. Cause as you all know, we are evil and all that.....’
Makes perfect sense (adjusts tinfoil hat)
Re-test?! Yeah right.
I'll say it was deliberate sabotage on iPhones from the start in favor for their Asian-paid deceivers just like DxO deceitful iPhone 12 review that many reviewers disputes against DxO very poor test on the 12.
I'm just suprised at, for one, that I'm posting in a stupid DxO thread that i had said I'll never give a DxO article the time of day anymore.
Two, seriously, why do you people still use DxO as a metric when this shill site has been caught lying for Asian OEMs by true professionals?
Yup the company wasn't happy with a low score. So, they bribed DXO to edit their scores. Hmm. Just like they bribe most mainstream websites. ಠ‿ಠ
