The Storm in 2008, the Storm 2 in 2009 and last year they had a full touch screen too. They were all awful phones though.
With a full Qt Framework OS, these devices will be snappy and fresh. Not to mention easy to port .ipa, .sis and .apk. Qt is awesome and open source.
it's a smart thing to do for RIM, making a Full Touchscreen Device. The competition for RIM not loosing it's marketshare is getting stronger every day. Handsets like I9300 and ONE X are hot these days. Maybe this phone will get them back in business...
[deleted post]Lol yeah... it was the first thing that popped into my mind when i saw the pic :D
from where i am staying, it's like 8 out of 10 people are using blackberry. I am on the market for a new phone and i think i am going to wait a little longer for this thing to come out.

TMach, 16 Aug 2012RIM - sorry, you've missed the boat......Epic failRIM f..k all boats.
They build his own boat.
Thank's god.
Go blackberry, go...I wish you good luck.
Something that android should have done long long time ago
This would be very helpful for mobile app developers and UI designers who will work with the new screen resolutions. Hope this update brings RIM back into contention with the likes of Apple and Google.

does this mean no BB10 for playbooks?
So many people say Blackberry is too late. I beg to differ. I think this whole delay thing is deliberate. They are waiting for the market to "bottom out" so that all the non faithful users jump ship, and then they are left with the loyal addicted uses and enterprise clients. Those users will spend more in any case. More on handsets, apps and services. Don't expect to see anymore low end Blackberries after OS10 is released. The profits are too small and I doubt RIM will bother with them anymore. They are preparing for a much smaller but more profitable operation, and I honestly don't see them even trying to chase iphone and android head to head. There would be no point really, being a single manufacturer with such a specific user base and focus.
BlackBerry kill them phone all nothing to say BB10 is hotter than fire .like it .love it .buy it .use it .cherish this .blackberry is the all times king of mobile you can't touch this.blackberry till l die up RIM and up Nokia who rule the world ?
Research In Motion?
do you even have a wee bit of attributes in that OS?
'Dumbness In Rest' sounds more correct
gigaflop, as ever!

You cant compare Tegra 2 with OMAP. It is outdated. Regarding which is the best then no one can beat ipad in tablets. Nexus 7 is also ideal than playbook. I see the bright future for Win 8 tablets too.
They should put the Blackberry on the upper part.
Cannnot wait for BlackBerry 10 to be launched
