What...the actual...freak...?

This is so unnecessary, it's pathetic. As someone said here, they didn't even totally succeed with their 108MP sensor completely. I wish the newest camera tech would be internal camera chips to take 64MP shots without taking shutter time instead of using quad bayer. Just an example.

We don't need more MP. We need new camera tech.

They are working on it because they know chinese brands will buy.
No matter if it is useful or not.

It bet it does 25 to 1.
      Output of 24MP.

      Rolling shutter must be obscene.

Pabliell, 05 Dec 2020This 600 MP sensor is just a showoff, just like the 10000 ppi screen. Now we know they can do... moreIf you have an 8K TV, wouldn't you want to have it?

I saw one in Rowan Atkinson’s movie with tens of thousands MPs. I think Samsung is finally getting there. 😎

More gimmicks incoming. Companies do this because it's easier to market, not because it improves upon the mainstream solutions.

Samsung's 108MP sensor failed to outdo the competition, and yet they're still pursuing more radical solutions like that.

Oh cool! Now we're going to have even worse focusing performance with 6x more megapixels ❤️

Now we know they can do it. But they never will, nor they should.
