I guess the Chinese government has to make an example out of someone every now and then to make it look like they aren't totally corrupt. I'll bet they demanded a piece of the pie from Gionee in exchange for that slap on the wrist.

If you truly use the device and not as limited as your post suggest you'd know a Google search is all you need to fix the ads you're whining about.
Want to know why Xiaomi is not facing this lawsuit, it's because you can literally disable those ads. They're not hidden from the users control unlike the malware found on Gionee and Tecno.

and Xiaomi livres from what? Even tho is not the same achem, the same type of thing, Xiaomi are plagued with ads all over the system apps.
No wonder Xiaomi phones are cheap, good for the money but the anoying ads dont make it to the brand itself who i belive win millions with.
Even isnt trojan or any kind od "viruses" i can compare ir to, so, someone stop this bullcrap.
*And no, Im not applecrap or sammycrap fan, i use Xiaomi, have a Mi9 and love it, but thats the experience i have with them.
