662 has spectra 340T ISP, meaning better pics than even many old 800 and 700 series, plus it should be comparatively cheaper. That's why many midranges are slapping 662 as defecto.
P.S. I know just a good ISP won't translate to better photos.

msr, 08 Dec 2020should go upward after 665 in 5.3. Who the H is behind this 5.4 project?Upward after 665? That would be the 690 5G chipset. Also, the 665 was launched in April 2019 whereas the 662 was launched at the beginning of 2020. So I see no point in going back to an older chipset when you have a newer model to update the existing phone model. If you are going to say 670 and 675, they are also 2019 chipsets.

If the nokia 5.3 somehow returned good reviews and likely sales too is it not simple logic that improving its core specs like display processor with possibly the camera will make for better sales for a phone you call its successor... I pray there is not bad management in HMD or 'nokia' somewhere... Amen

They made the first collosal mistake going with Microsoft... And now somehow there's another opportunity.... I would expect an upgraded display if they are listening to their due hard core fan base .. What is this.... Now they force the due hards to seriously begin to consider alternatives like real me or xiaomi... Who are these dudes in nokia by the way....??? I know they are Finnish and the racer valterri bottas is Finnish too

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2020662 is a mid-range chip in 2020?! You clearly forgot the Snapdragon 4xx series, aren't you? And before I forgot, Snapdragon 7xx is an upper premium midrange-tier chipset.

                            Nowadays
                            Expectation:
We can buy a 5.8 inch 720p phone, next year model will be an 6 inch 1080p phone at similar price.

                            Reality:
We are launching the all new upgraded model - 6.8 inches with 720p

HMD is getting to HTC levels of incompetence, but worse. AT least HTC regained some conciousness and their lastest releases are not complete trash and are actually solid devices spec wise.

This here is just pure trash. Cant believe we are in 2021 and 720p is considered midrange by some companies wtf.
