Notanopinion, 07 Dec 2020Damn!!!!!this will wreck AMD and INTeL Dinosaur chips.Have you ever heard of 3990X lol. That is amds 64 core chip with 128 threads. And this will be 3 year old by the time apple launches their first 32 core chip. Now you might think core to core apple is leading. That is actually misleading. Apple’s performance is sustainable only in a perfect eco system set by apple. In open world with little optimizations it is no where close to What amd and intel is, whether it’s gaming or creating. Then the biggest thing is price to performance. You just can’t defeat amd

Notanopinion, 07 Dec 2020Damn!!!!!this will wreck AMD and INTeL Dinosaur chips. It won't actually. If you're a gamer, Mac is out of the question anyway. You really need to use something specific that only Macs offer to really benefit from it so much. Otherwise a Windows system with Ryzen/Intel is still very much relevant and capable.

Bigger changes might happen on portable devices like laptops, but you can almost be assured those won't see 16 and 32 core parts. That will max out at 8 cores on higher end models. That is, 8+4 in Apple's case.
