My Sony WH-1000XM3 has great noise cancelling, longer battery life (30 hrs ANC off, 22 hrs ANC on), has aptX HD and can be used wired or wireless, for less than half the price. Oh, and also work for iDevices.

NBMSCH, 08 Dec 2020won't beat the Sony wh1000xm4 also it's very expensive like all apple products! In my region you can get two XM4 for this price. Also it doesn't look like it has a wired mode. XM4 and Bose 700 can be used in wired mode over 3.5mm.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2020Headphone jack quality will always be better than wireless audio gimmickactually factually inaccurate, 3.5mm unbalanced can sound decent if the audio components are decent, but all phones except the asian only onkyo dp-cmx1 sounds rather poor with their built in 3.5mm unbalanced output, but with digital usb type c they can use an outboard DAC such ibasso DC02 which still sound better than all phones built in 3.5mm unbalanced output, but in regards to wireless, LDAC and aptx hd will sound better than built in 3.5mm unbalanced output on phones as well (apart from onkyo dp-cmx1)

Couldn't care less about this sort of product, I'm clearly not part of the targetted demographic : too expensive, too much brand-whoring, too much maintenance. I can understand the high sound quality and exquisite design factors, but I don't get who really buys this stuff - it's not pro studio quality hardware, it's just aimed at rich kids who have money to throw out the window?
