The Undertaker , 11 Dec 2020So you buy old phones? Sometimes. Depends on my mood, lol.
I had second hand phones (mainly iphones), I had flagship phones. I find the 200-400EUR prices the sweet spot nowadays.
Flagship phones are ok only when you have lots of money at your disposal or you take advantage of all the capabilities the phone has to offer.
5 years ago the difference in quality and performance was greater between phones from different price categories. Nowadays not so much. So no need for a 1000EUR phone.

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2020That was before when they priced their phones below the competition When their flagship cost ... moreThere is an option to disable ads, I forgot where I disabled it from. You got to scroll a bit, hopefully you'll find the option.
No noticeable change in the UI, neither I see any added feature, some apps which used to hang or crash earlier, are working fine now. Still missing the call recording feature, neither working earlier, nor working now. Third party call recording apps have increased price to an all time high.

Give it some time man, before jumping to conclusions.
Did not get an update in europe
With the new update, the Dual Band WLAN speed boost feature seems to be removed. Also for all those who are facing Widevine L1 certificate issue, after MIUI 12 update on Mi 10, you need to reinstall the certificate. This option has been hidden weirdly in the security settings. Settings-> Passwords and security -> Fingerprint Unlock -> Fingerprint Payments -> Widevine (L1). Reboot the device after doing this and you should be able to stream HD 1080p content from Primevideo and Netflix. It would be very helpful if GSMArena could highlight this issue as only after installing this can Mi10 users start streaming true HD and HDR content.
I have a Mi 10... Updated to this update on 9 Dec 2020.... There are some bugs with this update and also some new camera features like long exposure modes(all mods of mi 10T pro)... Bugs include Camera exit animation lag, Status bar icons disappear misteriously after some time since you boot your phone, whenever you click on a link outside browser like on whatsapp, fb the browser window doesn't open and throws an error and asks to send a report, Phone is heating more than it used to on Android 10, Some strange UI glitches are present... The only new things I found so far were that camera features, security patch, android version.... :D

In almost all cases, they drop in price after 6 months. And sometimes even considerably, like 40-50%.
