I wish to say something. On my LG G8x, Facebook was preinstalled which I removed instantly.
Still, there're two facebook related system apps which are not removable.. some com.facebook.system and com.facebook.manager or something...

Can anyone tell me how did they end up preinstalled on my brand new phone? And why're they non removable? Its just a social marketing site, right?

FTC approved these acquisitions , when they happened. Recent flop or as to put with softer wording "change of mind" is nothing but political.

Monopolies are essential American thing, if FTC actually cared and/or tried to dissolve any of monopolies it could be disbanded overnight by aggressive lobby.

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2020They got the most patents in the world, wise guy! US propaganda is washing your brain. Wrong US does. If your 3rd and 4th industrial evolution a thing, it all involving in tech which US do hold most critical patent. From x86/64, ARM to DRAM/NAND fabrication. Huawei was bragging left and right how they made 80% of their phone, and look how far US sanction went?

Open RISC-V? Yep, another open-source the Chinese enterprise relay on, much like 80% of their commercial solutions, including Huawei. I laugh at so hard, that in their marketing Huawei tried to hide the fact their HCI solution was in fact based on OpenStack. HarmoneyOS? Let not get there. But do any of the Chinese follow the GNU/GPL guideline? No, because in their mind open-source = free.

You are selling China's propaganda, thinking a closed market that innovate and caught on what the other world do in 80 years within the span of 15 years without any infringement of existing Intellectual Property. And let not forget, how Huawei settle our of court with Cisco on their enterprise networking gear that helped Huawei become the likes of today. I bet Cisco is regretting that every moment now of settle in one lump sum.
