They should just ban Facebook from operating.
They have too much power and are using it for evil 😈 purposes.

So the way I see it is > Allow facebook to buy these platforms and after several years sue them for preventing other platforms to compete with them? Why would you allow FB to buy these platforms in the first place anyway? And as far as platforms go, if the owner sees less success on their programs they can actually sell it to a much bigger program or whoever offers them better which can either scrap their program or improve it.

Hello Life, 10 Dec 2020is youtube forcing you to watch their videos? or you are one of them with no life who sits 24/... moreIt's about what you can't watch because Zuckerberg doesn't approve! Watch how quickly FB censor anything from certain political parties but not others. They were caught very publicly during the recent US election campaign. They want a monopoly so they can control what you get to see to push their chosen narratives. I didn't like either US candidate but we have a right to hear, however stupid, what they say without FB interfering under false pretenses.

If it means Instagram can become less taboo, like not deleting a post because there are the letters N and P somewhere in the picture which remind this little sensitive Facebook contaminated thing of the word "Nipple" which it can't handle (and that's only a slight exaggeration)...
            Then, that's good !
Anyway whatever it is about, less Facebook and less Zuk is always a good thing.

Note 20 Ultra, 10 Dec 2020Who stopped others from creating their own social media platforms? I don't like it's... moreThe point is not that FB is stopping other social media platforms from being created, FB is buying other social networks i.e. WhatsApp and Instagram purposefully to stop them from growing too big and competing with FB. They're lessening the competition in the marketplace.

Who stopped others from creating their own social media platforms? I don't like it's dominance in the social media but it is not their fault unless they can prove otherwise in the esteemed courts. Or, is there a ploy to make it paid app by the investors in the form litigation influenced one...

If the american law really protects small businesses and customers, the FTC would've never approved those deals at the first place. To give you an example, the EU commission blocked a merger between Siemens and the French Alstom that would've made the new european company the world leader in the high speed trains and railway industry.
