It will last only one decade before to deteriorate. Very disappointing, then better OLED.

Badrawi , 11 Dec 2020This is micro led and ledSony was the one who first introduced showed how microled can be used in different fields way back in 2012.
Another lice-invention from copy-cats. Useless for far away with problematic eye sight users. Problematic for rude handling. Problematic first time out of the factory inventions Shamesung it's expert having multiple issues. And now this shameless price tag for old led technology named like in their liking! I will buy in a second any bravia model over this crap at least for colors rendering in time!

People still think that microled is oled ,instead of an advanced led display which is still lcd. However, microled does come with its fair share of the problem much like other displays.
Anonymous, 11 Dec 2020Sony and LG used quantum dot oled for years? What are you talking about??This is micro led and led
Catdog, 10 Dec 2020Dream on. If you can't get a 77“ OLED for less than $3000, You're not getting a 110... moreWhy should I dream? Did you even read the title? I guess not.
Anonymous, 10 Dec 2020I can't believe its only 4k... we've made 8k ultrawides before.. 8k is the norm now,... moreOnly 9% of the movies are 8k. None of the popular streaming services have more than 4k. So enjoy your useless fake 8k and 5g.!

iOS.Never.Again, 10 Dec 2020At 110" screen size, it should have been 8k instead of 4k. Not possible because of micro led technology. 8K would be 220" size. BTW this one is going to be priced at 70k USD
theRajeshV, 10 Dec 2020You can hardly call something that's likely to cost $60k+ 'consumer grade' :PI sell home automation systems. 60k-240k is a consumer grade price range.. for the affluent consumer. When you spend 15mil on one of your homes, own a few million in cars, clothes, boats ect.. putting a 60k tv in your master, a 250k tv in your lounge and investing 500k+ in your private theater.. these prices are not shocking.. people spend more on their speakers let alone their av gear.
Just because you can't afford it dosen't mean it's not consumer grade. Look at anything considered premium.. a 15k purse, a 10k dress, a million dollar car are all consumer grade.

[deleted post]I prefer IPS-LCD over OLED because of how quickly OLED phones I owned in the past suffered from burn in. I'm waiting for phones to start using micro led displays.
Anonymous, 10 Dec 2020Does it have to be 110"? Can't they make a 42" that'd fit in most lounges? Read my last comment on this article where I talk about pixel density on a 55 inch screen using this technology.
I'm hearing from other commenters that this is a 4K TV this I think means that if they made a 55 inch version right now it would only be 1080p/FHD so the technology is still not even ready for people who want decent pixel counts and it's certainly not ready for smartphones since you can't fit 1080p in anything less than 55 inch with this technology at this stage so what more a 7 inch or smaller smartphone screen? 240p?
Don't quote me on what I said and do correct me if I'm wrong so that others don't get misinformed by me. I don't know enough about this tech to be stating facts.
