They add something, but it's mostly useless
As it only brings kinda smooth scrolling the launcher for the most part
Games don't even support it
Even a lot of apps don't support it

I like where the budget phones are going. High refresh rate, good battery, big screens, decent CPU for around 250$ - 300$.
