Anonymous, 14 Dec 2020because no driver support from amd. And its expensive to write your own driver. Manufacturer b... moreNo driver support for AMD? Are you sure this is relevant in current time? AMD is already offering mobile drivers directly from the desktop branch so mobile Ryzen users no longer need to rely on the manufacturer. AMD has great driver support, even for GPUs as old as the 7000 series.

What do you mean pay for R&D to use Ryzen? If they use Intel, they don't need to pay Intel? Isn't that business, buying chips? If they do pay R&D then why is AMD equivalent cheaper than Intel?

Not sure, who are their targeted buyers? Home users or Corporate clients. 14-inch IPS LCD indicates that it is meant for business professionals. Anyway, price is really high for normal home user.
Dell provides licensed version of latest MS Office along with Windows 10 OEM version pre-installed. Why to pay extra bucks for purchasing MS Office seperetely?

Manufacturer basically have to pay for rnd to use ryzen. Why should manufacturer use their resources if amd dont provide enough support ?

Seriously, Intel? And it's an i5-10210U. There's already an i5-1135G7 with graphics performance on par with Vega 6. It costs a lot too. The weight does bring an advantage compared to the competition. I still don't understand why manufacturers are not making Ryzen ultralight laptops.
