IPad pro bends because of poor design, nothing to do with thickness.
You need to take physics course again buddy.
Samsung tab S7+ doesn't bend as Samsung invested time in designing the product to avoid build quality issues.
Apple chose to ignore these issues as they were present on 2019 model as well.
They know they can get away with it as blind fans will buy it anyways.

Galaxy Tab S7/S7+ do NOT bend for being put inside a bag.

There is only one way I may consider android tablet, if it got hi res QHD screen, great performance/endurance ratio, jack and is lighter than ever and cheap.
Currently only huawei tablet and samsung tablets are worthy a bit, one heavy other without jack though.
If there is someone that can do all of that and keep the price at 350euro, it would be worth spending money, otherwise is my old tablet and PC good enough.

Anonymous, 14 Dec 2020Their tablets still can't get file management right. Why are not the iPhones good? My 4 years old iPhone is still pretty fast and gets the latest updates. Not to mention that if having an iPad or Mac an iPhone would make more sense because of iCloud. It’s cool to find a presentation, document, pdf, safari tab, note, you name it, you have created some time ago on your Mac or iPad , even if you have created it years ago, on the iPhone by simply typing in the file name in the global search. Even better if you classify your files with color tags, your entire content of your Mac or iPad will be available on your iPhone on the go and even in somebody else’s iPhone by simply signing in your ID account. This can be actually a life saver if you urgently need a document but your iPhone has been lost and don’t have access to your Mac or iPad.

Budget ipads have always been better than budget Android tablets.
Sadly, no matter how powerful they become, there are still tablets in the end. And Apple will always keep them a step behind the macbooks in productivity area, just to sell both of them.
Now, if you are ok to spend 300EUR+ just to have another device laying around the house and used it from time to time, then ok. Otherwise, better take that 300EUR+ and invest them into a better laptop or better smartphone.
