Actually MTK also do the same thing

Anonymous, 15 Dec 2020Who needs a refresh of a 2 year old chip produced on an outdated fabrication process? Every manufacturer that keeps pushing out Snapdragon 665 phones. The 670 and 675 don't appear to be in high demand yet are not getting used either. Maybe a new version helps get them off the 665.

I guess because India isn't close to 5G development (and, who am I kidding...the US is only like 60% done), Qualcomm has to continue offering 4G processors. O wonder if MediaTek's gonna unveil some G100 processor to counter.

Someguy20, 15 Dec 2020I wonder if the Moto G stylus 2021 would have this. Probably notGood catch! After this announcement and considering that XT-2115 already passed few certification bodies, maybe we can expect phone will be released soon.
