Because you need 2 flagships and 1 premium flagship an year to stay on top. Some just release sort of the same or slightly changed specs, but some do something worth being next gen, Huawei as example.
Anonymous, 16 Dec 2020I like the Note design better than the S design.Guess you use the phone less than just look at it.
May be they are trying to avoid negative press leading upto Jan 14 event
The Fold is the new Note. Maybe the next foldable phone from Samsung will be named Note 21 instead of Fold 3.
Whackcar, 16 Dec 2020People need to stop caring about rumors. Most of the time they're either completely wrong... moresay that to google.
they regularly discontinue services for seemingly little reason.
Yeah, so did Huawei at first on the Honor lineup for investor confidence and in Sammy case its stock shares devaluation.
Time will tell.
That's shocking. The note series is a good thing. Instead retire the M and A. Let the note continue.
Anonymous, 16 Dec 2020if S series got S-Pen, then Note series got no purpose anymoreAbsolutely I mentioned it few months ago when the news became more glaring that Note Series is going to be replaced by Galaxy Fold Series. Although it may not be so quickly but definitely Note Series ending is near according to the writer!
AnonD-923722, 16 Dec 2020yesssss, the right move. just remove the s series and just have the note and folding series. s... morethink Samsung has more expertise then you when it comes to their strategi
the fact that you think you know better is lol
People need to stop caring about rumors. Most of the time they're either completely wrong, or just partially correct.
Things only get discontinued when they stop making money. Clearly that hasn't happened to the Note lineup, so why would Samsung discontinue a successful series? It makes no sense. So they won't. Duh.
Why should Samsung discontinue any line? when there are customers for both A and M simultaneously (I mean free market and online order which they ship globally, regardless of market dependency ).
I think Samsung strategy is Flagship Quarter/Season.
Q1 for S series.
Q2 for Rollable (Which is their current gap)
Q3 for Note series
Q4 for Z series (Foldable)
which is good for the brand customers to know their need from the fixed schedule.
and also is not illogical.
Anonymous, 16 Dec 2020if S series got S-Pen, then Note series got no purpose anymoreThe s pen is an accessory for s 21 'ultra' only
You have to buy it separately and also a separate case to fit it in
Anonymous, 16 Dec 2020if S series got S-Pen, then Note series got no purpose anymoreI would still prefer to store the spen inside the phone and not as part of separate case
They should not discontinue the Note series. I have a Note 10+ .Would like to move to a Note 21 Ultra
