It is possible that the best thing would be to have it completely installed to appreciate a little the benefits of this new Harmony OS, which I do not argue FOR ANYTHING that its foray is bad: Otherwise, it is always good that there is competition, and the more options, a lot best.

The downside is that in technology, and especially in operating systems, the PC market is based on Windows and Apple, and in telephony it is Android and Apple as well.

And yes, there are Linux and other systems ...

And that is what there is because it has been wanted that way by manufacturers, administrations, markets, and a long etc. complicated to name.

I say this because I have seen the interface of this new Harmony system through the GSMArena video and frankly, it seems to me the same operation as when you start up a newly released EMUI 11 although already more technically and as mentioned by a very similar colleague to Google's Fuchsia project.

I have precisely a Chinese Mate 30 Pro 5G to which I could implement this new system, but on the one hand the web is completely in Chinese and I DO NOT find out anything, and on the other I have had my Mate 30 Pro for several weeks without the services Google ... and although it can get out of hand, it is quite complex:

I can't use my banking app (my app tells me that my phone without Google Services is not secure).
Weather and Vessels position apps (important for my work) do not work as they are based on Google maps and libraries.
Other apps that I want are NOT in the Huawei App Gallery because its ecosystem is very limited.
And others that I have installed and I want to buy them to have more and better functions, I can't because they are the built-in-purchase type that take you directly to the Play Store to be able to acquire them.

And so, many and many more contingencies.

And this today - for my part - I do not want it ... maybe NOT in a few months, but in a few YEARS this operating system has grown and it will not happen like Windows Mobile, and of course, at some point it has than to have a germ, which is today ... but the best thing that Huawei can do is to reach SHORT TERM with the new Biden administration to an understanding and put an end to this.

Only on the basis of chinese, Russian and some Asean countries they can never claim thrown.
Many chinese government backed companies with AAA+ ratings have defaulted on 6.1 billion loan. Hopefully Huawei won't be the next in line.

So the UI doesn't differ at all compared to EMUI, I was expecting something new. Anyway, hope this will be something big cause I love my P40 Pro a lot.

Huawei push lot of money in this. Harmony Beta is now smooth, lets see final version. Glad they keep Emui on the top of Harmony for mobile.
