Maybe one from Vietnam, India or Thailand. Priced well, and a premium midrange SoC like the Exynos 1080.
Barret, 20 Dec 2020I don't agree with the poll options. The only thing I wait for is a reasonably sized (65m... moreI was gonna comment about this. Yeah, why are they not releasing reasonably-sized phones? My phone is great but its too big for me.
I want windows 10 Pro with cellular, a 3:2 camera sensor with larger pixels, 9000x6000p, 1.2micron behind optically stabilized Zeiss optics, a larger high-cap battery. a 18:9 75mm wide screen etc
Cheaper flagships in general. Any of the feature additions shouldn't be by making the phones exorbitantly pricey.
High spec phones at budget prices eg qc sd 888, adreno650, 8gb ram, ufs2.2 128gb storage all for the great price of 150usd. Sony 48 mp cameras front and back. This phone will fly off the shelves and be a market leader in reducing the greed at phone corporations maximizing profits off hard working poorly paid citizens.
Well I think you are missing a very important choice.
120Hz qhd displays for more phones and more affordable (right now only Op8 pro and OPPO find x2 pro support this), it would be cool if these displays weren't only amoled but ips/ltps as well. Like the possibility on tablets with iPad pro or Samsung tab s7 compared to s7+
Nothing fancy. Just a compact phone that's easy with the hand and battery that would endure the day
I'm for Midrange affordable amoled screen smartphone
Should have been an option "None of the above".
Majority of those options stated in this poll, will make the phones much more expensive. And for what?
Gimmick things that will not improve the day to day experience, but will make the companies charge even more money. Because, that's what they really want. Put something nice on paper, painted in a nice commercial and Voila! 2500eur phones. And people will accept it, because why not, is "advance technology".

It's Samsung going to release a FE-edition to knock the non-existent competition out of their socks.
Whackcar, 20 Dec 2020Foldable phones are gonna take over the smartphone marketplace in the next few years. Regular ... moreWell that's going to depend on how much it cost. Even the cheapest foldable screen smartphone on the market right now is no less than $1500. If Xiaomi can really bring the price down, I really want to see what kind of compromises they have done.
evilmessiah, 20 Dec 2020Don't really care for any of the above to be honest. Wish these manufacturers brought bac... moreTo be brutally honest, I so doubt if they would do it for flagship-tier models unless if Apple bringing it back. So for now, your only chance for flagship-tier models with 3.5mm audio jack is LG and Sony, that's about it.
Definitely periscopes camera with variable focal length for me. We already have good, if not solid camera sensor hardware for ultrawide and standard cameras. But telephoto is still not there yet. We've seen cameras with proper optical zooming mechanisms from the first half of the 2010s that can still beat modern smartphones of today in terms of zoom shots. For once, I definitely want to see a modernized version of the ASUS Zenfone Zoom with a much longer optical zoom. That would be the king of smartphone telephoto cameras.
Under display camera is still not my thing yet, I'd rather take pop-up camera thank you very much. Once I see a smartphone with under display camera that can offer a true IP rating, then I wouldn't mind using it. Foldable and also rollable screen phones are still pretty much a gimmick right now, so don't expect a cheap one anytime soon. Nvidia-designed GPU cores would be nice for gaming smartphones, but that's not my target audience. High resolution sensors? Possibly, but that depends on the smartphone camera's image processing algorithm.
How about instead of gimmicks we add something interesting to the market - variety.
Where are any small phones? You could count all small phones released this year on just one hand. And really only one is truly small.
Where are different build materials? These days cheap means plastic and premium means glass. More exotic materials can be found only on "special editions".
Where is design variety? 90% of the phones this year even had the exact same camera placement.
Boooooring.
I don't agree with the poll options. The only thing I wait for is a reasonably sized (65mm wide tops?) phone from a reputable brand that isn't Apple or Samsung. We have everything else that we need already.
Don't really care for any of the above to be honest. Wish these manufacturers brought back 3.5 mm jacks.
1 billion colour screen in all flagships and stereo speakers in mid rangers (specially samsung).
