Yeah, if you are on some trip or something, maybe it could be possible. But I will not buy a "cinematic style phone" just because I will (probably) be watching a movie from time to time on it. And what about the rest 90% of the times?
If I am at home or near some bigger display, I will always choose the bigger display to watch a nice movie or play some nice immersive game.

Size of iphone 8+ and XZ Premium.
5ii has 158mm at 6.1". As an example S20 has 151mm at 6.2".
1ii has 165mm at 6.5". My Realme 6 (which I consider a long phone that hardly fits my pocket pants) has 162mm at 6.55".
Don't tell me about iphone 8+. That phone has an old design.

Having 90/120/144/240Hz does not automatically force all apps to run at this rates.
You can use Sharp Aquos Zero II and its 240Hz screen.
Mortal Kombat, Asphalt 9, F1 , Real Racing or Fortnite.
None of them will run at 120 , 144 or 240Hz.
There is no support.

I do not understand how ... moreDude, that aspect ratio is so that you can play cinemawide content in its fullness instead of playing 16:9 on a 19:9 phone where there are MASSIVE black bars in landscape mode. Sure, it's odd for a lot but it has a solid purpose. I would like to see 16:9 phones come back for that reason but giant numbers sell (despite 6" 16:9 being actually bigger than a 6.5" 19:9 phone). It's a shame.
Hence why I'd love to see Razer give us one more shot (since they were the only 16:9 phone with microSD and OIS in the main cam for a gaming phone). A Razer 3 with 16:9, 6.0" 2K@120Hz IGZO, 6,000mAH battery with 30W customizable charging, front-facing amplified speakers, headphone jack with DAC, Snapdragon 888 with every existing 4G/5G/mmWave bands, IP67, 18W wireless charging, advanced heat pipes, and 8GB/256GB expandable memory minimum and I would line up to preorder that sucker.

This isn't just "useless camera modules" we're talking about
This is blatantly selling, advertising a phone as a "double/triple/quad" camera device.
Even though half or even all of the extra cameras are completely useless and / or
do a worse job than the main one.
It's like selling a car as a six wheeler because it has two tiny spare tires.
Except that in the case of phones, most people are easily fooled and actually BELIEVE that, the more cameras you have, the better pictures you'll get.
This is false advertising at its finest and it needs to stop.

It changes absolutely nothing when you cry here and still go out to buy it. Like, why would they, the OEMs, stop when they're still maintaining good sales number?
Like I commented on a similar blog about the announcement made by Xiaomi CEO: "don't care much what s**tty stunt Apple pulls on it's customers until those stinks affect me. When people say Apple sets trends, this is it. The shape and form. It's this variety.
"WTF?! These OEMs almost never resist the urge when it's going to bloat their coffers. And the users? Lol. Complain one minute, yet buy the next. How and why, then, would the OEMs stop?"

I which I could vote for 3,5&6. But, since I couldn't, I settled for 3. I don't really care much about cameras. I hardly use them, I just want them there for those rare occasions. An I'm sure not going to buy the Infinix and Tecnos of this world, with their QVGA AI camera modules.
