Exynos is back? Well, hopefully back with better thermal management and power efficiency..
Anonymous, 19 Dec 2020They're only announcing it this late because they don't want people to test it again... moreThat's true...in previous years Exynos was announced 1 or 2 months before Snapdragon summit...but now all they do is create these funny videos boasting Exynos has resurrected...Lol
Exynos is crap...never will I buy anything with Exynos
Only Snapdragon satisfies me now
Anonymous, 19 Dec 2020They're only announcing it this late because they don't want people to test it again... moreExynos was always announced late than Snapdragon, because S series is coming into the first quarter of the year, Snapdragon is coming at the end of the year or the first month of the year.
They have around 1-2 month difference in phone release so that's why Exynos was late, they try to maintain their first quarter of year release time
I don't have problem using a phone with any processor. I am not an expert, just reading reviews or comments from experts. If this product is inferior to SD I would expect and a lower price. As a European citizen we will have the exynos chipset, no charger or headphones and still paying more than Americans. How is this possible?
ogahulu , 19 Dec 2020Exynos is back With what? more heat? You’re a prophet or just stereotypical thinker ?
Qwerty, 19 Dec 2020Agree! Actually it’s Qualcomm’s fault that Samsung needs to abide to them in the US and China ... moreNot really
Is it Qualcomm's fault for samsung to release snapdragon phones in Korea as well?
Lasuto, 19 Dec 2020What I don't understand is, if they are so proud of their own chipset, why didn't th... moreBecause they're bluffing and they know exynos won't beat snapdragon
Hence the late announcement and usage of snapdragon in their key markets
They're only announcing it this late because they don't want people to test it against the snapdragon
Hence losing more
So announce late, sell the s21 without any initial fuss
And when the vids come out, they've already sold many phones
If the exynos is more capable than the snapdragon, the exynos would've been announced already
What I don't understand is, if they are so proud of their own chipset, why didn't they use for their products released in their home country, Korea? I don't think it has something to do with patent...
Hell no. I will never use Exynos.
God help those whose money will buy these.🙏
Looking good Samsung and hopefully you damn optimized your smartphone overall performance with your chipsets. That’s the main problem you’re behind with your peers, maximum optimization and fast secure updates. Kindly listen carefully to your tech savvy employees and consumers.
Anonymous, 19 Dec 2020It's back may mean it's coming back for those markets that previously used Snapdrago... moreAgree! Actually it’s Qualcomm’s fault that Samsung needs to abide to them in the US and China market - and one of the reasons why they keep pushing Huawei to use their chipsets if they would enter the US market, you know for them to be watched by the government and all. Qualcomm wants monopolization at its finest but time will come that kind of Intel’s mentality would come to an end. Maybe not now but eventually...
It's back may mean it's coming back for those markets that previously used Snapdragon chipsets. I hope so as they shouldn't be spending resources on designing identical phones but with two different chipsets.
Let's see if they are any better. I hope samsung does something good after listening to our complaints.
Tech expert: exynos gonna be big.
Plebs: snapdragon da best yada yada yada..
notafanboy, 18 Dec 2020not really. As history has shown, Exynos = crap compared to snapdragon.Wrong, exynos was overall better than snapdrgons, UNTIL the last iterations, where many short-memory haters-ignorants began to say all kinds of nonsense about exynos chips, as if only the last two years existed, and of course they all do not remember or are unaware about the monumental fiasco the snapdragon 810 was
Obviously only THOSE who know how CHIPSETS (SoC) work will appreciate the changes on Exynos 2100 compared to Exynos 990.
Assuming those who say "it will fail" or claiming things that are not proven are most likely are "Feeling Tech Experts"🤡
For me it doesn't matter if Exynos is not on top. Performance and Heat Manangement? If you really know the changes then you must already knew the "possible" outcome.
