I do own note 20 ultra snapdragon and my wife has iPhone 12 Pro Max.
All I can say is if you like to play games buy any upcoming phone with the latest snapdragon 888 however if you like taking pictures videos go for 12 pro or 12 pro max

This is the same thing we are seeing this year.
This is why the s21 and rog phone with the 888 is scoring 3400-3500 multi score . No where near the power of the a14.

A14 wins in single core And multi score on Greek bench which is cross comparable and has the better GPU.

finally a real benchmark
1150 and 3800 on the reference device not bad
most devices score quite bit higher looking at previous reference devices
so maybe 1300 and 4000 barrier not far
and 3 interations not enough for throttling so what happens with 4 and this is reference device other will have better or worse cooling

Thanks to benc... moreC'mon we all know most people here only compare the peak benchmark scores to shit on Snapdragon and that's not focused on stability nor consistency. I can bet my ass that the throttling A14 will lose to SD888 in sustained game performance in benchmarks and real life. Plus, gaming is probably the only case where people are pushing the chipset to its limit, so a small win for Snapdragon IMHO.
