Too low of an incremental change it's almost impossible... A Nexus device started out as by/for devs and thus should adopt newer tech. Not necessarily the TOP END but also it shouldn't be backwards?
Time to pass this baton to Moto... At least we'll be seeing a much heftier batt capacity.

OMg I LOVE THIS, i really liked the galaxy nexus, its price is reasonable and the feautres like the screen are brilliant only the limited memory available disappointed me. If that is sorted, this phone could be a winner :)!
Wonderful rumor... http://android.pandaapp.com/news/07312012/214415542.shtml#.UDP-9qOUnEh
Lets hope that it isnt a new Nexus made by Samsung. I am really hoping the new Nexus is made by either HTC or Sony.
farbror Frej, 21 Aug 2012I dont understand people who are dead set against micro-SD support. Just pretend it isnt ther... moreCouldn't agree more. Modern MicroSD card speeds, coupled with their reasonable prices, make them a very effective and affordable way to improve you're handset's storage capacity.
The premiums charged for extra built-in storage (and most mobile producers are guilty of this) are a complete joke.
It's no wonder companies make handsets without card slots. Apple must be laughing all the way to the bank at the people who pay an extra £200 for 64GB instead of 16GB.

Just pretend it isnt ther... moreI didn't consider buying the galaxy Nexus because it didn't have Gorilla Glass. My Nexus S scratched so easy. No micro SD support is kind of a turn off because I can't just swap the microsd to have all my data on the new phone

Just pretend it isnt ther... moreWell, lack of sd card slot isn't a big deal breaker for me,but combined with the not-so-good 5mpx and the very low volume speaker, all formed a deal breaker for me.Now the s3 is my only option,I could wait for next nexus but I'm impatient.
if it is a nexus, I'm glad I waited.
I dont understand people who are dead set against micro-SD support. Just pretend it isnt there, for crying out loud. For the rest of us - its a dealbreaker. Thanks to the lack of it - I didnt even consider the Galaxy Nexus.
I hope it's not a Nexus. Google need to stop artificially propping up CrapSung in the Android market abnd get that Xperia Nexus on the way!
Wind, 21 Aug 2012microSD? On a Nexus? No way. Google is trying to pull microSD away from Android (I hate phones... moredude. as long as lives, micro sd's will live. LOng live Sammy
what about the radio feature in next version of nexus..?
Anand, 21 Aug 2012"Nexus" isn't it a Trade Mark of google?
How could samsung can use it?
Not sure if serious or whatever.
Google designs these Nexus range.
Samsung makes the phone for them under the Samsung name.
Difference is, Google provides the updates for Nexus phones.
And this sounds a lot like the Galaxy Nexus / Nexus Prime, the insider told GSMArena back in october...
with 1,5GHz DualCore, 8MP Camera
althought i don't think its gonna be a Samsung Soc and i neither think it'll have a PowerVr SGX543MP, it's probably a model with the OMAP 4470 and therefore a PowerVR SGX544...
in early 2012 there have been some leaks at the NenaMark Database showing a GN running with the SGX544 and OMAP 4470 chipset... it's probably the I9260
