Mi 10 ultra fixed the lack of 120hz on Mi 10 Pro and gave an even better camera.
People who were disappointed with the price of Mi 10 Pro got the MI 10T Pro within months.
People who were disappointed with the price of Galaxy S20 series got the S20 FE with very few compromises.
And many more such examples where flagships released after a few months gave users what they were looking for.
On iPhone you'd have to wait a year for improvements or some other feature.

So if tomorrow Apple releases their flagship after 3 years, It will still be the latest phone according to you, irrespective of whether other phones have advanced past it or not.
If there is a new Android flagship launched after 2 months, it might very well be better.
Your current flagship Android phone phone doesn't lose its value and is still better than the iPhone.
It might have improvements and upgrades.
Something that is not possible on iOS as improvements in the phone requires users to wait for another year.
Only thing that is outdated here is your mind.

The reason for all this talk about the 13 is because 12 brought almost nothing substantially new vs 11 apart from new design lol the rest is marginal bits here and there. Performance you won't notice a difference A13 bionic vs A14 bionic, screen the same, battery the same etc
That's why everyone is already anticipating the 13.
