Max, 23 Dec 2020In the world of OLED panels and Dolby Vision who would wanna use a LCD screen.People who have a tight budget. Many millions of people all around the world fits that category.
Do you have an idea how many people are still using feature phones still?
If you don't like it, you can always pay the price and got another phone with AMOLED screen.
Anonymous, 23 Dec 2020I have a question, why don't they use the cheaper but last year flagship performing exyno... moreBetter, but more more expensive for sure. Also, it would cannibalize the sales of Mi 10T.
If you think its gonna launch above 40k with that specs, then you're just too dumb lol.
Anonymous, 23 Dec 2020Wht wil b the price?Rumors are it will be under 20k base variant.
What is price
Arnav, 23 Dec 2020Low lifetime: OLED and AMOLED panels degrades faster when compared to the IPS LCD. Most estima... moreyes, but you have to assume that a heavy user would use their phones more than 8 hrs, so if you are looking to use your phone for more than 3 years, go with LCD to avoid amoled burn.

Max, 23 Dec 2020In the world of OLED panels and Dolby Vision who would wanna use a LCD screen.Low lifetime: OLED and AMOLED panels degrades faster when compared to the IPS LCD. Most estimates say 14,000 hours as life time of the panel. IPS easily has a lifetime up to 60,000 hours. In the case of smartphones is not a major problem. 14,000 hours is equivalent to 8 hours daily for 5 years.

fkn xiaomi.
Mi 10 i Pro ultra Neo lite Max SE 5G
Didn't teased Dec 28 release for Mi11 and they are teasing Jan 5 for Mi 10i? Why not rename it Mi 11i
Anonymous, 22 Dec 2020If this Comes Under 20k Then it's gonna Shake the MarketNo, man it will be under 40k to 50k they will never launch at that price And that too it's a 5G phone
It probably will be a bit more expensive than Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, regardless it's gonna be a solid phone for the low price.
Some people have criticized Xiaomi for less than a year cycle of Redmi Note line. So the company are shuffling their branding scheme, but they are all Redmi Note in the core.
They are updating Redmi Note line twice a year, but regions got only a single generation of "Redmi Note" per year. Second gen launches under another brand.
"Redmi Note 9" line lands on China just recently, other regions got Redmi Note 9 half a year ago, but that was whole another phone. They repacked Note 9 Pro 5G for Europe except main cam and rebranded as Mi 10T Lite 5G, now they rebranded it for India Mi 10i 5G apparently.
That's not a high-end phone, even a budget flagship like Poco F2 Pro.
They could build the phone with AMOLED screen, but not with high refresh rate within budget.
And despite the name it's not really related to Mi 10, they could name it Mi 11i, but that would not make sense too.
End of the day it's a solid bargain for ~250USD.
How much it is for?
It's nice to see a manufacturer that sticks with good value for money that shows with their sales that a lot of people had enough with increasing prices....
But! stop releasing this many smartphone variants it's like they put two xiaomi mi 10 together and started to breed like rabbits
The last 'i' device by Xiaomi was Mi4i, released in 2015. 6 years later, and it's Mi10i.
Seems like Xiaomi did their math.
If this Comes Under 20k Then it's gonna Shake the Market
Where is the logic to launch Mi 11 on Dec 28 and Mi 10i on Jan 5? Are you joke to me?
Why Xiaomi doesn't include amoled display?
