CPU looks good, back to ARM's core design,no stupid M3/4/5 core.
        Problem is GPU.
Kirin9000 have G78MP24(24 G78 cores) GPU running at 725MHz.Performance is equal to Sn888 but need twice power compare to Sn888(4.8 watts for Sn888,8 watts for Kirin9000 )
The exynos 2100's GPU have 14 G78 cores, more less than Kirin9000,so will samsung use a even higher frequency to have close GPU performance.
That will make the chip too hot in gaming

Every time but every time, when samsung release some benchmarks before a product with that chip is on top but after products are coming officially, those number decrease

But the exynos 990 is much worse than the dimensity 1000 etc

And if you yourself is saying that exynos lacks in midrange an area where mediatek is currently king even better than snapdragon this year then how is exynos second???

they should focus on low-mid range phones as well, not just the high end chips that would barely sell 5m worldwide

Tbh I don't care about CPU performance anymore which geekbench shows as most upper midrange chips already have more than enough CPU power, GPU matters a lot more and that where exynos should pay attention at and improve greatly over the exynos 990

well that is not true and shows you know nothing. As I said search sm-g996b on geekbench, the exynos 2100 has been geekbenched plenty of times and its there. When geekbench is ran on any device its uploaded to the servers.

On to your second point, You say geekbench is unreliable with no evidence. Just because your device doesn’t win doesnt mean the test isn’t fair - android users always try to blame the tool LOL. Even qualcomm used geekbench for their benchmarks.

Pretty good. Hope it won’t have any thermal problem when being this high score. Then the only thing Exynos lag behind Snapdragon is GPU.
IMO, compete is the premise for growth. Snapdragon has its monopoly too long that they put their high-end chipset price on the sky. Things may change if this 2100 on par with 888. The more they compete to each other, the more benefit we get. So we don’t have to be harsh. Just sit there and see what they will do.
IF SAMSUNG WANT TO ALIVE, THEY HAVE TO DO BETTER OR ELSE PEOPLE WILL ABANDON THEM.

Your iPhone scores are useless as GeekBench isn't a reliable cross platform benchmark tool.
You really think Apple is as fast as GeekBench says in the real world?
Your iPhone 12 pro Max starts sweating and thermal throttling after 10 minutes.

Promising but there's also power consumption that needs to be taken into equation and how game developers seem to optimize their game around Snapdragon. In the end, a strong competition is a win for customers.
