AnonD-804996, 23 Dec 2020Yup, you're a delusional Apple hater. That sentence alone tells me everything about you. ... moreTypical apple lover lacking reading comprehension. What they were saying clearly had nothing to do with how good the m1 was or was not
It's just a benchmark not the actual performance. I regret buying galaxy s8 with exynoss chipset

You are not comparing "apple to apple " lol.
so exynos will still remain behind in graphics, Qualcom announced a 35% boost in GPU performance
Let one plus come with 4k multi score and come talk again please.

As its cost efficient then snapdragon ...... its not fast then A14 i agree. But compared to old exynos the benchmark and performance sound way too good....

Indifferent, 22 Dec 2020Most of you guys are fighting about how one chipset will be better than other, or Exynos final... moreSamsung should change the NAME of the device. No discussion.
There is absolutely no point in a multi-core lead at this stage of chip power. What matters is efficiency and computational photography, and in those departments, Exynos lags behind.

Kristo Radion, 23 Dec 2020it will also lead in terms of more heat and more battery-consuming. typical ExynosNope. Thats the maximum boostclock. When it uses 100% of its power than yes it will use a bit more energy. But in normal use the CPU doesn't throttle so high, so it will use about the same amount of energy.

Apple phones are useless after a half day of heavy use.
wow, what a clown show.
Suddenly geekbench is TAKEN SERIOUSLY because it shines exynos in a good light.
Nobody realizes that the iPhone 12 pro max scores 4200 points, 300 points more than the exynos 2100 AND 500 more than the snapdragon 888. LOL, there's a bigger jump from the iPhone 12 pro max(already released) to a yet to release exynos compared to exynos and qualcomm.
https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/4745203
Once, I remember droid master told me that he could only "collect my tears" when the snapdragon 888 was released because it will so call "destroy" the iPhone 12. Now that the benchmarks are out, I don't know where that stands.
And for the peeps that claim iPhone throttles in gaming performance. MrWhoseTheBoss just published a video. Here it is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsHrV26dKD8&t=613s
Notice how he said at the 4:15 timestamp that "I wouldn't find a single game that my phone(iPhone) wouldn't play at the highest possible framerate". Aka no complaints at all about gaming. No throttling.
These days it's more important to have no throttling when the device is under heavy workload, and power efficiency with minimum heat dissipation (5nm might help).
Most people don't care about benchmark numbers. They're meaningless when it comes to making decisions on which phone to buy.
Samsung has a lot to do to regain the lost faith in Exynos. If Exynos were truly good and cost-effective we would see them in non-Samsung phones.
Anonymous, 23 Dec 2020A14 and exynos..both suck. throtling soc performance. SD is better choice.Lol the a13 can still beat the 888 so don't be a troll
Wily2020, 23 Dec 2020"It's funny you say that as the 888 destroys the a14." Stop dreaming, no it ... moreYou're a fool if you believe that try doing some research don't just say stuff blindly

AnonD-558092, 23 Dec 2020That's still hundreds of millions above the amount of people that care or will ever read ... moreSadly, this is the case nowadays and especially on this site.
I am not defending Apple or its ecosystem (I still think they are the greediest company out there), but a lot of iphone users are automatically considered fanboys. Doesn't matter if they have another Android phone, a Windows laptop, Android tablet, etc.
I know this, because I was in this situation couple of months ago and also last year, when I had for short time 2 iphones (not new, bought second hand, I will never pay 500EUR+ for an iphone).
Myself, I do not have a problem with iphone users in general, some of the best people I know own an iphone. But, I do have a problem with those who are completely defending Apple and buy only Apple products, never wanting anything else. And also, saying that iphones are the best, without having any other type of phones in their lives to compare it with.

I am writing this message on my M1 MacBook Air, 8GB ram model while I have 28 apps running in the background and 30 tabs open on the safari browser and the temperature of the Mac is just 36 C and without fan noise as the Air doesn't have a fan. In this case scenario I am in, if I decide to open a big app like Photoshop, it will launch it in a couple of second as if the system is idle and opens the very first app. What ever tab I click on safari its content is ready to go, no reloads. I switch between running apps without any frame drop in opening app animation and whatever app I switch to it is ready to go in a fraction of a second. I had never had such a nice experience on any computer I had ever owned.
