My Mi Note 10 gets one once every three or four months, which is considered really bad where I live. It got Android 10 about three months ago. The camera destroys faces with the main lens by smoothing them rather crudely and I have to use GCam to avoid it, but GCam has its own issues. And yes, I get ads on my Global ROM, so you must be really special...

Having said this, the Mi Note 10 is the best bang for the buck of all of Xiaomi's line up IMO and in fact among all the Chinese offerings I have tried.

For those who think that Xiaomi is expensive:
Samsung is producing their own chip, display, memory, cameras, battery but is charging more than 20% over Xiaomi.

LOL, I guess this offset the market, pretty much any phone any vendor will charge close to each other. Guess those new vendors will heavily bet on how long their hardcore fans will keep supporting them.

The price of these chinese phones are getting closer and closer to iphones that the asking price for new iphones starts to become reasonable.

Judging by the amount of haters spreading lies about Xiaomi, it seems Xiaomi has made it. Hey, you are commenting like no one here knows your lies. I am using Mi 9 from 2019, and I am still getting updates. Ads is non existent on my Malaysian set. I suggest you beware of karma for always spreading lies.

So, for a price not that far off from Apple's or Pixel's, we can get a phone from a company that does security updates three to four times less frequently than others, serves ads in preinstalled apps, and abandons support in a year or so while churning out dozens of "new" models with incremental updates to generate "news" and reviews.

                      No, thanks.

It's funny read the comments above talking about that they I'll wait until the price drop. Dude, if i consider the actual currency, the Mi11 will cost almost R$4,000 reais without taxes, this is really expensive for the Brazilian avarege citizens. I will wait for the Xiaomi Mi13 so with it, the Mi11 price will drop :V

So there is only a CNY 500 price increase across all the Mi 11 memory/storage variants compared to last year's Mi 10. CNY 500 equals USD 77 and EUR 63 as of 24/Dec/2020. I literally don't see any reason to shout about it. That kind of price increase in favor of the Snapdragon 888 chipset is definitely a fair deal to me.

So many Xiaomi apologists here, trying to justify the exorbitant price of Xiaomis next "basic" flagship model...
For this price it should have everything. IP68 rating for water resistance certification, 3 major Android updates + 2 extra years of security updates, USB Type-C 3.2, polished UI & UX, etc.
Nothing of these has a flagship Xiaomi phone.
Xiaomis midrange models are good priced, but their Flagships (since the Mi10) aren't worth the money.

It's just the unlimited "Quantitative Easing" program that is to blame for the 12% fall in the dollar index. The depreciation of the dollar is the major reason why phone companies are going to launch with higher prices.
