i think it's the best designed handheld gaming pc
for a handheld pc this one is the cream of the crop

On windows a keyboard is a must have and the touch screen should be good for compatibly
with android games also i do hope this has usb ports for mouse too be plug into the pc

The storage amount options are very good 1tb or 2tb is excellent for getting this spec was gotton right is something the gaming phone storage options should have had instead of cheaping out on storage all of the time

I heard the joy sticks are the main flaw with handheld pcs because of drift

Given the price point i have high expectations for performance and questions about the design and parts

I say what i don't like

about performance and specs should be better

This has a 11th i5 that's crap or it has not ideal 11th gen gen i7
This is not a great processor and will bottle neck any good gpu you will be pairing it with

When am on the topic of gpu why does this not have a mobile gpu in it like laptops have
someones going too have too tie a rtx 3060ti mini as intel grapics on this are questionable at best and can barely even run the latest aaa games

windows 10 or 11 is so bad so heavy and hard too run smoothly a 11th gen i5 can barely even surf the web ram the 11 gen i7 will suffer less

As far as i know you can't upgrade the cpu but can use any gpu so why not put a i9 inside should of had

About ram 16gb ram really is not good enough anymore

windows is a very ram hungry os on its own and very heavy and takes up too much storage also and hard too run smoothly

muti tasking will suffer and some games recommend 32gb ram
also ddr4 ram is not that expensive less ram was a very bad trade off

now lets install ram heavy android os emulator this has a touch screen more quick fact about numbers of gamers
there are more android gamers then windows gamers more people play android games then windows games

now android that needs at least 8gb ram too run smoothly and ever new game added in storage will use ram in the background or at least a little

windows its self really wants 32gb ram as it can't help but keep running its own crap in the background also

now you want too use split sceen mode in windows and android same time video your gameplay montior in game fps listen too music in background and switch too where you left off in your other game you had open

i hope people see where am going with this
for a game console it only needs a little over as much ram a game use but a pc will need a lot more because of muti tasking and the way the os works

At least 32gb ram needed for windows device
i really do hope the ram is upgradeable in this handheld

Laptops or gaming smartphones are the way too go for portable gaming
they have 165hz screens that are 1080p unlike handheld pcs

if you carry this your still carrying your gaming phone also so handheld pcs don't make much sense too me as they can't make phone calls or text and if you do also want a pc with you the gaming laptop is much more powerful and same kinda price range

Only big diffirence ... moreWhile I definitely agree with you pricewise, expandability for GPD Win 3 is better than the Aya Neo due to Thunderbolt 4 support. GPD also has more experience UMPC-wise, so they kind of have a more established brand name.

Still, comparing to other laptop vendors like HP and Lenovo both are very cheap and you will definitely not go wrong with either of them. :)

Only big diffirence is keyboard but hey if you need a keyboard then use a desktop. Plus, if you want to use GPD as a desktop (for work etc.) you need to buy a station.

There is an increasing popularity of this type of niche device so much that both OneMix and GPD have increased sales with UMPCs.
Also, if you're only thinking of using this for "gaming only", then you don't see its full potential.
iPAD and iOS can't really match the full PC potential of Windows both for work and play.
Of course, this type of device targets specific communities and lifestyle... not just for gaming alone.

yournicknameoptional, 28 Dec 2020Which one is better? GPD Win 3 or AYA Neo?I have the GPD Win Max and bought this because of the TB3 so I can connect my eGPU.
If you need addition GPU power, then Win 3 is better than AYA Neo.
Also, I need the keyboard for immediate typing as I work on the go.

In the end, it really depends on your lifestyle on which device will fit you. Mine leans toward the Win 3.

It will play many games at 60fps, from GTAV to Sekiro.

You don't need a beastly GPU when your goal isn't to run games on their prettiest settings. It's a trade off, if you wouldn't call a PSP a handheld gaming device then that's on you.
