Anonymous, 24 Dec 2020It will be interesting to add a high refresh rate screen at least 90hz if not 120hz.Tbh I don't think that'd be useful and give tearing in games that don't get up to 90/120. I'd rather have them optimize a custom build of Win7/8.1/10 and/or Android x86 (if you want to know what I'm talking about, check out Ghost Spectre on YT).

The core i7 when gaming, is constantly at 100 degree C. The performance per watt here is horrible. The battery life as indicated is around true, 1 to 2 hrs.
So basically it's a small toaster, that needs to be plug in most of the time. And that fan noise.. man.. So.. the question is, why not get a gaming rig, a switch or iPad, all are more bang for the buck.

For people concerned about the 5.5" screen, while it doesn't say this on the campaign, this is potentially a 16:9 aspect ratio; which is the equivalent of a 6.5" of an 18:9 ratio display. Gaming doesn't work on super-stretched displays unless it's the Ultrawide 21:9 one (which is why I criticized all gaming phones this year for going 20:9 for no reason).
This is not a bad-looking device at all. At least it's different. Having Thunderbolt 4 with 16GB RAM, 1TB, and running a full-fledged Windows 10 while being portable is pretty cool.

But then again, Intel seems to step up their integrated GPU game with the Xe. Also, there's Thunderbolt 4 port so the possibility of using external GPU is very high.
