People are tired of carrying tablet-sized phones in their pockets. As an android user since day one, I would consider migrating to iPhone 12 mini. I wonder how come no one of the android manufacturers don't see the need for small-sized phones. It is huge selling potential.
Anonymous, 27 Dec 2020Dont worry for those who wanted to spend less there was a device called the S20 FE, which won ... moreS20 FE is as bad as his channel.
Both useless.
Samsung is just an Apple copy-cat now. Zero innovation, zero care for customer requirements, encapsulated battery, no earphone connector, forcing users to do what they think is right by curtailing customer choice, etc.
majority smartphones shipped by them are from budget/mid-tier category. Not the flagship one. I mean who wants to pay a price of Rs.60k (800$ approx.) and still get a support for around 3 years only, okay richie rich can afford that for every two years. But people like me can't. I am still using my 3 year old galaxy S7 (3yrs because i bought that in 2017 in Big billion days for Rs.21k(281$)) and still it is very solid device but samsung ditched the major android update for it, but I also ditched the quarterly update from them and installed custom rom which is running oneUI2.5 right now. That's why if I am going to choose my next phone I will buy a phone that will have good after market development and luck by chance again I opted for samung then definitely it will not be a flagship phone from them.
Fully deserved. Overpriced and oversaturated product portfolio. Don't use pandemic as excuse, as I'm sure another phonemaker has gained profit in 2020.
Typing from Mi 10T Lite 5G for £170 during winter sales =)
Raise your prices even more! Let the most expensive series start with 1500 or 2000 €, you will surely sell more! After all, there are many s*ckers.
Samsung will see even lower numbers if they keep shoving overpriced phones.
Might have had more sales if they didn't keep raising the prices and kept the earphone jack and SD card slots. But who cares about consumers right? :")
Bring down your prices and we will patronise you to hit your targets
Samsung has a big problem with its pricing. So yesterday I visited a retail store because I was interested in buying the A12 as my secondary phone. To my surprise they want $200 for a phone that is not even worth $120. I gave up on the phone immediately after seeing the price. This may be the cause of their poor sales volumes because the A series which stood for value is now too overpriced.
The facts are nobody wants to spend the price of a car for a telephone
In any case, it is not the S and Note range that make Samsung's sales force but the mid-range and entry-level ranges.
We should always thank Chinese companies, without them you people would pay Samsung and Apple 2000 dollars for flagships and 1000 for mid ranges.
Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo should always stay in the market for the sake of competition which benefits us consumers.
I'm not really surprised as they're selling their ultra smartphones in Europe with exynos for high price and they don't even support 5G when you can purchase for lower or somewhat similar price.
Samsung is an OVERRATED, OVERPRICED, and YOU DON'T GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR kind of deal.
$300 Samsung is still slow and performs like a 4 year old device. While Xiaomi will give you an almost flagship camera with the latest flagship processor just for $300.
Even my $150 xiaomi redmi 5 plus bought almost 3 years ago is still performing well.
Meanwhile samsung.... trashed my s7 edge last year
I have one word for you: Exynos.

Kind of expected when you try to sell Exynos trash for insane amount of money. I'm happy Samsung is on decline and more customer oriented smartphone manufacturers are on the rise.
