The S20 5G ... moreThe main difference is imho the processor, the Exynos 990 is kinda trash in battery management/ISP (Compared to S865) so the exynos 2100 is very welcome. But again, not a true flagship, they need to strip the SD card, the glass back, the QHD resolution ... I was eager to buy S21 to replace my Note10+ and have a non curved screen with a smaller device but hell ... I'll wait for a under screen camera ! Even if it's crap, I don't care, I dont take much of a selfie. They should consider getting away the cam even, but sometimes for fooling around that's nice, but other than that ...

Too much expensive for a phone with features removed, cheaper materials and even a mediocre "hybrid" zoom so is not even a 3x optical, is lower... Time to give a good welcome to Vivo X60 Pro or a future Mi Note 11 if released.

Sooo I guess QHD is too much of an "Ultra" thing for the standard, bare bones Galaxy S ?
Never thought I saw a Galaxy S with a Sub-400 pixel density.
This and the 1.1 optical joke.
I hope the non-ultra 2021 S won't end up like the 2020 non-ultra Note.

Samsung you suck. Why are you keeping putting different cpu in Europe. This is the reason why I haven't bought the S20+ (an I had all phone from S6 above). And know you are also removing the microSD card I think is time for me to find an other manufacturer

Most of professional cameras and videocameras too.... moreThe focus seems to be fixed with Note 20 Ultra's Laser AF, and I thought it was mostly because the 1/1.33" sensor have a very narrow field of view, like it has a strong natural blur due to the sensor size.
I have a phone with PDAF and one with Dual pixel PDAF and trust me the Dual pixel PDAF is way faster, even in low light.
Laser AF is still slower than dual pixel PDAF but helped the Note 20 Ultra.

The issue with s20u was samsung's fault.
Software was poorly done. It has huge impact on AF performance.
Proof is the fact the periscope uses PDAF, no focus issues like main camera.
Also, ppl try to take close up shots and complain about too much out of focus. That's physics, not AF.

-FHD+ display
-Plastic back
-suppodely no charger and earphones in the box but in France they won't be able to do that.
Do you guys think worth it if it's 50€ cheaper than S20 4G?

gorilla glass, why isn't there on the fe.....? i love samsung but too much options not enough simplicity, the 10 wanted since came out, waited for a $0 down, finally but month they take off shelf, not saying will release a 10 plus so i've to get the fe, now 10 is back. too much disappointment in just getting a phone much less using 1....

Apple, samsung and Xiaomi removed charger. Don't have much hope from oneplus but atleast stick to 1440p display and charger. I also heard they are collaborating with Leica in camera department. Leica also provide services to Huawei so big improvement.
