Kirk, 30 Dec 2020Nah I dont think so i played COD using pocom3 with the highgraphic and if is so smooth From my test not, even research over many bloggs in many languages and results are the same, Poco M3 is mediocre for gaming, no good enough as the Redmi 9 with MTK for play.
But in fact, Poco M3 was never intended to be an Gaming-Phone is in the range of low & budget smartphone, people can do research, I have the Poco M3, and is good, but not great for gaming,
Even have the same performance of the Moto G8, even have the same Antutu score, both have less than 172,000, Redmi 9 have more than +200,000, and the numbers speak by itself,
They recommend Realme 7i over Poco M3 for more serious anyday use. I know people expect and want more from this phone, but you get what you paid, Simple as that. Want a better experience, go and get an Redmi Note 9S or an Poco X3 NFC. But don't expect any miracles from Poco M3

Poco M3 have inferior processor and somewhat inferior GPU than Readmi 9, in fact, benchmarks position Redmi 9 for over 203,000 points and Poco M3 lower than 171,000. Antutu V8 based.
So, Redmi 9 is better than Poco M3 for basic gaming, because there still lags on games on Redmi 9, better speakers or battery don't mean more speed or play experience.
Also camera looks to be worst in low light level than Redmi 9 (remember more MPx don't mean to be a better camera) and lower sensors. But is an basic-entry level phone you cant ask more for an sub $149 dlls phone, so for me, if you want to play, better get an Redmi 9 instead Poco M3.

Maybe ocasional gaming but forget about Fornite and Call of Duty. It will run but in low specs on everything.
If you want gaming better look at Readmi Note 9S, 9 Pro or X3 NFC or jump ti Mi but dont look at Low-Entry Phones.

Sometimes your reviews should also focus on availability because the only way to get this phone is to import it from china, an experience that may be painful and frustrating. The only exception is in India.
