Samsung should learn something from apple and Nokia lumia windows devices in the past when they are getting software updates even after getting more than 5 years old phones

Do not update. Done it on my Note 20 ultra and there are several issues, like flaky gesture navigation, slower camera and general UI, broken floating windows zoom ratio, etc... Samsung at its finest, never stops to disappoint.

All updates on android phones will slow, battery degrade maybe except in flagships. I recommend don’t update unless its needed

From source: The new software update bears firmware version N97xFXXU6ETLL, and it brings along the December 2020 security patch to the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+.
But the info says security patch September 2020 and the language is dutch.
