PaidReviewer, 31 Dec 2020This is what happens when you take too long to develop a game and use more budget than necessary. not necessarily, CD project Red have always been EuroTrsh, it's only with Witcher3 they built ba cult following and Even Witcher 3 was bad with performance until they patched it with 1.08 version, also Witcher 1 and 2 had terrible performance

Your skills/dialogues change the outcome for many of the quests. And the quality of writing is good as well.

I miss dialogue options like in Fallout 2, when if you botched a dialogue, the whole bunker attacked you, or you could finish the quest and get the reward/XP right there and now. And skill points were really importand, like being able to steal the Bozar sniper rifle from guards early in game for a tremendous boost. Lockpicking for getting good equipment, dialogue options really changed something... Depending of your skills you coud finish the quest in different way, like repairing a generator etc.

Visuals (HighEnd PC): awesome (9/10)
Visuals (base console): worse than expected (3/10)
Story: didnt finish but seems nice (tmp score 7+/10)
Combat: Trash (1/10)
Performance: mediocre all around, bad in consoles. (2/10)
Mechanics: unfinished and poorly designed (3/10)

Nice very extensive review, some part was covered realy detailed like visuals and gameplay and there is not much else to add I would say, great review. Though in my opinion I would say this game is massive dissapointment and very far from best open wolrd games or best RPG's. Yes it is not finished but I doubt we will see any changes in details, like physics, or NPC AI, which leads to having dumb and empty world, which can't offer you any joy of exploration and anything meaningful to do. You do side missions and main mission and that's it, nothing else to expect or explore because nothing else is happening in a world like random encounters with animals or random encounters with NPC doing some activities like we get used to get in GTA 5 or RDR 2. Comapring to gta 5 or rdr2 CyberPunk 2077 world looks like a comparing litteral sandbox with a theme park, it is night and day difference, cyberpunk 2077 world can't offer really much anything dynamic against immersive gta 5 world or best open world ever created rdr2(in my opinion). Neither it excels really in RPG departemt. Skyrim or Fallout 4 or CDProject own Witcher 3 offers much much polished and more deapth RPG experience when CyperPunk 2077. Problem with CyberPunk 2077 is that is trying to be both open world urban gta 5 style game with Fallout 4 type of RPG deapth but fails to match either. CDProject was overambitous trying to combine best of two worlds but it went completely out of hand as complexity of both worlds combining into one game was too much to take, which Rockstar probably only studio in a world could probably pull something like this off. As review said just don't play it it now, wait until they at least fix all bugs, or don't play at all as this game will definitely not going to become as good as GTA 5 or Fallout 4.

This was the first time in my entire gaming history that I upgraded my whole system for one game. Was waiting for RTX 3080 card coz of how unavailable they are and managed to get one. Now I'm basically just waiting for CDPR to sort out the bugs so I can properly experience it in all its visual and gameplay glory. Until then, I have Shadow of Tomb Raider to finish so it'll all piece together perfectly.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a flawed but enjoyable game to play right now. If you want a perfect game then wait a few months till it gets fully polished, and then play it. You'll have a good time.

I'd play any game with Keanu Reeves in it. Sounds like they were still working on the game before it was released. Maybe I'll wait until it's finished before playing it.
