        LOL! Samsung losing market share pushing HDR10+ just so they don't have to pay a $15 licensing fee to Dolby for Dolby Vision. First it was HDR, then HDR10, now HDR10+. Next it will be HDR10++ Almost as good as Dolby Vision this time. We promise. LOL!

          it's either 8k@60hz or 4k@120hz not both.

            This just reminds me of Nokia doubling down on Symbian! I didn't buy a Samsung TV this year because they don't support Dolby Vision. I settled for a Hisense.

Not having it doesn't mean the product doesn't support the features. Also Dolby Vision is a paid certification while HDR10+ is free

                          Purpose is simple HLG conversion from the source including non HDR one's get adoption to capabilities of HDR display dynamic HD

                              Just dying to see what tvs will be offered in 2021 and shown off in January at the CES,another section Samsung use to dominate,but the others are getting way better,and Samsung charging too much for there tvs,so there losing consumers not gaining them,so they better start to realise this

                                Great. Just when I hoped Samsung would finally cave to offering Dolby Vision on its sets it looks like it's doubling down on HDR10. Guess I'm getting one of those new LG QNED TVs in 2021.

                                        Anonymous, 30 Dec 2020I am not getting excited ever about TVs until they manage to comeup with a 55 inch MicroLED TV... moreA tiny TV of only 55" is not at all suitable for microLED at this time. Unless you are fine with HD/720p.
