Have to smirk when watching the amateur joggers wearing these things with a phone strapped to their arm. Thee they go jogging slowly a few metres constantly looking at the watch and whatever is on their phone. Then one week later never see them again, they have given up and the novelty has worn off and the bling is confined to the drawer for eternity to end up as ewaste.

Had samsung gear fit before and this one is much better. Battery life is 10 days if you have heart rate monitoring activated otherwise more. Plenty of skins to chose from. Only one issue that is bothers me is the text size when you get notifications. Otherwise its gets notifications from all aps besides sms.

Another 'Never Settle' endeavour I see. Can't wait for them to raise the price like everything else if it's actually worth it.

Currently eyeing Mi band 5, Huawei band 4 and Honor band5

IF they do this, I hope they make a 'leapfrog' forward instead of me-too-ing it along with Xiaomi (and the others). Add GPS, make it thinner, add functionality, APP store, more memory etc. Not just "another" band same as all the others, like what is happening with so called, smartwatches; they too share the same specs and are commonly "all the same".
