Ha, 01 Jan 2021Oh and wait before I forget, " you really shouldn't blame them at all. They're ... moreDude, chill out. everyone has their own job and purpose on this planet. if everyone solely focused on what you just said. we might not have dope tech anymore, they have their own jobs and responsibilities, they innovate even more for us. in any case, you can't really blame them for what you just said, nor does it have relevance with this particular topic. little upgrades still matter, too. imagine upgrading from a Snapdragon 835 to aaa let's say an SD 888. the upgrade from it's predecessor might be small, but the upgrade of the person might be huge.
danwat1234, 20 Jan 2021"adding that Qualcomm capped the vanilla chipset at 2.84 GHz." Then how does the I... moreThat's a scam feature as the chipset is already capped at 2.84 at max. How it works is that when the "overclocking" feature is turned off, the phone only uses few cores and probably not even half of that 2.84 clock. Then when you turn it on, it gives you the max 2.84 clock speed. Good feature bad naming.
"adding that Qualcomm capped the vanilla chipset at 2.84 GHz."
Then how does the IQOO 7 Overclock function work? Is it a lie?
Lol, 04 Jan 2021The theme you're rolling with is no brain in that head since you can't seem to think... moreThe theme, you and the other dude made no sense what's so ever. Imagine comparing an already existing processor with an overclocked speed when a next-gen processor comes out in the next 4-5 months to a human baby that takes up 9 months to make. For example 865+ Note 20 in late August. S21 with an SD 888 in Jan... Like you might as well wait for the next one. And you're lecturing me that I'm spewing nonsense. You and the other person must be a special kind. Your username "Lol" fits you well because you sir are a walking meme on this site. Plus, you're throwing insults shows that you lost your cause in this argument. Get to stepping.
Shellyman Infinity, 02 Jan 2021Your comment makes no sense just like the other person in here. I guess that's the theme ... moreThe theme you're rolling with is no brain in that head since you can't seem to think outside the box yet assert yourself as a "infinity man" like wow, what's next, Time's mag Shelly bull sh*it man of the year yeah? Lmfao...you're really on them strong strong meds so with that said we've reached the end of the show folks!
Anonymous, 31 Dec 2020Because "few months". Try living without a phone for "few months"Your comment makes no sense just like the other person in here. I guess that's the theme on site.
Lol, 01 Jan 2021and what's the point of having a baby when you're going to have another one in a few... moreThat comment makes no sense. You're comparing something that takes 9 months in the making vs something with a minimum of changes in 3-4 months time period. And you're telling me that I'm spewing nonsense lmao. Get to stepping.
Imagine comparing an overclocked processor with a human baby... Yikes! That's the silliest contradiction I've read yet so far this year.
Hello 2021 today, regarding the snapdragon 888 which has been hyped for several months now and will be
Available very soon starting with the xiaomi flagship
Followed by other android phone manufacturers will
Bring noticable improvements over the already good
865g which is part of rising technology. Happy for that part, but at the same time I was disappointed upon the 888's performance short comings vs Apple's a14 which
Has been available since mid 2020 in the iphone12. And in addition the 888 even has some performance short comings vs Apple's a13 which has been available in the iphone 11 which has now been available for over a full year now. In the world of technology competition where it's usually very close or even too close to call I must say it's shockingly surprising of how much of a lead apple has over qualcomm. Hopefully someday qualcomm will close the gap which will benefit both technology and the consumers who buy them.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 2021Yes only in 2023 you will enjoy the benifits of a pure 64bit only SoCs from OEMS. That'... moreArm has been dragging it's heels with 32 bit garbage because it's just an arm with no legs so you're absolutely right ! 😀
IMX363, 01 Jan 2021I have an 835 and it's still more than enough. Unless you're gaming, there really is... more" an 835 is still more than enough "
That's only valid if you're running a custom rom where you can actually make use of the full available power, pushing it to its limits thanks to dedicated and specific optimization along with a lesser burden footprint of a heavy leech hog oem rom.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 2021Bruh the device isn't even out there yet. 'bruh', the testers in china already have it in their hands. Unless they are out to trash qualcomm or xiaomi on purpose and are releasing fake results.

For me, the only reason why the Plus version exists is to cater to the gaming smartphone audiences. For pretty much everyone else, the vanilla 888 is already more than fast enough. Heck, even the 2019's vanilla 855 is still a solid performer to this day.
The 'Plus' Snapdragon is the overclocked version released late in the year... seems like that is Qualcomm's strategy these days.
Yeah, 01 Jan 2021So Q3-Q4 of 2022 but most likely 2023 for true 64 bit devices.Yes only in 2023 you will enjoy the benifits of a pure 64bit only SoCs from OEMS.
That's how long ARM has been dragging it's heels with 32 bit garbage.
Apple has been 64 bit only since 2017, It has removed every single crappy 32 bit apps extensions or compatibility layers.
Google still allows app developers to make and upload 32 bit apps to playstore until August 2021
Anonymous, 31 Dec 2020Because "few months". Try living without a phone for "few months"I can live without one for almost half a year bruh
Shanti Dope, 31 Dec 2020In any particular case, just go and buy whatever fits your needs and what your budget can give... moreOh and wait before I forget, " you really shouldn't blame them at all. They're simply doing their own things, "
modern s1av3ry, excess pollution , miniscule upgrades and exorbitant pricing - yeah... yeah... definitely no blame here or there, just keep calm and do ya thing with no regard to the planet or humanity yeah?
Seriously, lay off the dope...................🤡

I feel like doing it non-stop even though my wallet constantly says 🛑
