bruh the snapdragon fans are so sensitive they yap about exynos and A14 and when the 888 is less inefficient like the A14 due to 5nm they go nuts, especially this 04n guy taking over the last 2 comment pages
Strawhat, 02 Jan 2021Eat that haters, great success incoming for mi 11More like greed and gluttony.
dr5, 02 Jan 2021Lots of disappointed kids if the 888 turns out to not be all that goodSD888 was never powerful from the get go, it's been Qualcomms been slacking since SD835 with minor improvements every generation.
What does this phone do that millions of others can't.
Its just an exercise in owning the latest bling for another year...making xiaomi executives and their countries investor wealthy off everybody else's hard earned money.

What a device... What a device!
I am actually shocked by the Mi 11's thermal throttling. The performance is impressive for Android, touching the A13 but with 65% power consumption increase at load.

This is attributed due to the X1 cores struggling under load. The benchmark scores are either same or worse compared to SD865. This drop in performance is worse than A14 before iOS 14.3 (which fixed the unusual behaviour).
PUBG Mobile runs smoothly at HDR Extreme with little heat build-up (iPhone 11 can also perform as well at lower sceeen brightness) but at Genshin Impact at highest settings, the framerates scale back from 60 to around 30fps (iPhone 12 Pro Max does it at 50), but I can give this game a bit of slack as it's buggy and poorly optimised.
Otherwise the results does not look promising.
[deleted post]Thermal throttling has been debunked by Gary Explains. A14 only throttled very slightly though it still ran very warm.
SD888 do not look promising as it consumes too much power. Here's the article:

zillion, 02 Jan 2021sorry I don't understand chinese languange, but that poster show 15, not 35. What is 15 m... moreThe 15 yi equal to 1.5 billions, most probably the value of 350 thousands units phone cost 1.5 billions chinese yuan.
This is for sure a beastly phone! I can't wait for JerryRigEverything to gauge the build quality. Can't wait to buy this one! C:mon Xiaomi, great job!
For the A14 Bionic fankids, why are you yapping on about an unbelievably amazing Android phone for which you have no clue and can only drool after wasting a thousand bucks on a bitten fruit with a four-year-old notch, outdated camera, and 60hz screen? Duh!
sorry I don't understand chinese languange, but that poster show 15, not 35. What is 15 means? If that 350k is true sold out, it's not surprising me with that understandable price following many flagship features. Well done xiaomi.
Anonymous, 02 Jan 2021I hope international release won't be too far. I can't wait too long.Probably won't be long but as always the European release will probably be around 40-50% higher in price
AnonD-973296, 02 Jan 2021not bad, 350k units in 5 minutes, mission successfulIt would have been way more but for the supply limit. The mi10 series was the same though so it's nothing out of the ordinary. There's always very high demand for new flagships from Xiaomi and Huawei in China
[deleted post]But what frightening English is yours, friend, you don't understand anything at all.
I hope international release won't be too far.
I can't wait too long.
