I would never say Chinese are not good, they are very capable, and hard working! Also, they are very friendly, so I love them.

[deleted post]This is not entirely true, and this is going to change. For example now Apple phones are also made in India. Many companies are moving out of China, they are going to Vietnam(most of them). China is not the whole world(I know they think they are the center of our planet, but it is not). There are many other countries as well who are capable of making good products. China is not that cheap anymore.

Boe is the #2 mobile supplier, chinese company.
Many chinese companies do not use RAM/storage from samsung, but local suppliers.
Chinese phones have much more than 50% of pieces made by chinese companies.
Bill of materials of mi11 is same price of iphone 12, despite much better specs. How do you explain ?

Nick Tagataka, 02 Jan 2021It depends on whether you're comparing it to S20 Ultra's zoom camera or upcoming S21... moreI am guessing it's going to be better than the S20 ultra. It has a native 4x optical zoom only. Which is less than the 10x zoom promised on the Xiaomi. Though the 10x seems to Include the Ultrawide(?). So the Xiaomi isn't a true 10x zoom. Maybe in the ballpark of 8-8.5x zoom(?).
