That's simply brutal.
[deleted post]Not really. The sensors are made in Japan or Korea; screens are made in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China etc; lenses are made in many countries; etc
The world has different countries making different components. China does make quite a few parts, to be fair.

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2021120x digital zoom is the problem.
Photo end up lower quality than VGA.
Gonna be like s20 ul... moreIt's impossible in a phone to have 120X optical zoom...due to size constraints.
But, i'd hope they put 10X optical at least...we need more optical zoom with no quality loss.
Mi 11 is a high class flagship but doesn’t have any kind of optical zoom it’s very shameful

Sometimes i take pics from animals at a distance in which you can't get close (trees, inaccessible places etc). Also when reading boards at a distance, in a building etc before you get there. There's a lot of situations where a good zoom is useful.
Proper zoom (optical) is always handy not a gimmick like you said.
It is a 5G mobile
Yes, that's all well and good but will I actually be able to buy it?
We topped out at the standard Mi10 here in the UK and even that wasn't readily available.
Xiaomi need to sort out their distribution model which seems to be based on LG's appalling effort.
TEtech, 02 Jan 2021They will put 5x probably It's probably the camera setup of the Mi 10 Ultra. So 5x optical zoom compared to the main camera. and 10x optical zoom compared to the ultrawide. also 10x (20x compared to ultrawide) lossless zoom thanks to 48 MP sensor in the telecope camera.
imicek, 02 Jan 2021Okay, what about any under-screen cameras?... Or is it too soon?https://m.gsmarena.com/zte_axon_20_5g-10370.php

if you are too urgent
if not wait for 8 months until they launch Galaxy Z fold 3 with UD camera, or next year when all phones come with UD cameras.

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2021Yup looks like a 5X optical, I am hoping for 10X optical in a compact form over the next few years. huawei p40/ mate40 pro+
And I was complaining about S21 series design, but this... this is pure garbage
The orientation of the lens opening of the periscope camera doesn't match the display orientation (i.e. you would be taking a photo in a landscape mode when you're holding the phone in a portrait position and vice versa). It looks so fake to me.
If the ultra-wide is the same as the Mi 10 Ultra, then it will suck so badly.
Recycled ultra tele I guess, so no 120x but 5x, if it was 120x you would see people on space station.
