AnonD-973296, 10 Jan 2021have fun having ur battery exploding 0.0000000001 seconds after u plug the thing inMan every single technology is evolving this one will evolve too.
Soon or later we will fine a way how to not loose even a inch of energy and it will refuel instantly.

Thats not enough.
I want to see a phone charged from 0 to 100% in less than 30 seconds.
Same could be used for electric cars so we can replace stupid gas ones.
this is BS; It's too slow.
Waiting for the 59TW charger for my 4000$ phone which i'm using for FB, tiktok, insta and scrolling through crappy stuff on 9gag
i0S...Never...Again, 05 Jan 2021How will the Mate 40 Pro charge with VOOC at 65W? VOOC is proprietary. that's bad for your "twice as fast with vooc" theory.
TestTest, 05 Jan 2021I have Honor Magic 2, since the release (around 2y and 2-3 months so far). It has 40W charger.... moreThere is negligible degradation for most people.
These people just want to discredit ultra fast charging simply because it is coming from Chinese Manufacturer.
i0S...Never...Again, 05 Jan 2021Even Samsung 45W charger can get a battery of the size 5000mAh in 58min. It is filling up 14% ... moreto prove your little theory you need to fully charge M40 Pro with 65w vooc in less than 22.5 min .... i'll wait.
Faishal Rahman, 04 Jan 2021Just replace in huawei service center. In huawei service day replace battery just fot 6USDWhy would I want to replace my battery frequently even if it's just a few dollars? Do you live next door to a repair facility?
Tan, 04 Jan 2021While my Note 20 with 25w charger shows "Super fast Charging "Dude, I just plugged in my Note 4 and it said super fast charging. I had to disable it as it was 50% in 12 minutes. Crazy chinese battery inside I guess.
Aierlan, 04 Jan 2021True. I think for the Chinese brands in their home market the failing batteries are not a big ... moreI have Honor Magic 2, since the release (around 2y and 2-3 months so far). It has 40W charger. Battery, the last time I measured 3 months ago, was around 92% of capacity. Measured with some APP, for 3 weeks (forgot the APPs name). Which is in the range of battery cap decrease for Apple phones with 5W chargers. You can find the info on Apple's site.
In my case, battery degradation is negligible.
MadMel, 04 Jan 2021according to M40 Pro review, Oppo Find X2 Pro with 65w vooc is barely faster (36 vs 45 min.) ,... moreEven Samsung 45W charger can get a battery of the size 5000mAh in 58min. It is filling up 14% more capacity in 13 min more with a much slower charger.
Oppo is in a league of their own. Huawei heats up quite a bit..
65W is taking only 28min for 4000mah battery while staying cool as a cucumber.
i0S...Never...Again, 04 Jan 2021I prefer fast charging by VOOC (or any of the rebranded names by BBK electronics). This one... moreaccording to M40 Pro review, Oppo Find X2 Pro with 65w vooc is barely faster (36 vs 45 min.) , and Oppo have smaller battery divided at half ... Huawei's 66W adapter is among the best is written in conclusion.
Anonymous, 04 Jan 2021The supercharge will mess up the battery in the long runNo it won't as long as heat is kept in check.
You guys need to stop it with the same old talking points.
Also batteries used here are specially designed to take up that much load unlike the regular ones on Sony or Apple that might explode if subjected to ultra fast charging.
I prefer fast charging by VOOC (or any of the rebranded names by BBK electronics).
This one is a dual cell solution to the already existing 66W.
The existing 66W on Huawei is just numbers on paper.
The 65W VOOC charging is twice as fast as Huawei 66W.
Also the Huawei heats up a lot, while VOOC keeps it cool during usage while being plugged to the socket.
To everyone thinking it's constant wattage or constant voltage. It's not like that. It'll be like 135w upto 45% battery charge then 70w upto 90% and so on. Usually both voltage and current are high initially and gradually both of them decrease until they reach 5v 2A(generally). Not necessarily worse than other chargers wrt battery damage but they require stricter precaution about using the phone while charging. On the plus side you get a palm heater.
