Can't wait for these batteries to fail as it is inevitable. Good job keeping people replacing cheap chinese products.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 04 Jan 2021Hauwei... Is right up there still... Amazing how this company still pushes forward stronger. ... moreAmerican pressure in the sense, ASML still uses American technology in their litography machine, now that China have understood it.

They are invest $ 2.1 Trilliin into semiconductor through 2035.

They have already made a brand new 14nm lithography machine slated for 2023 and 7nm for 2025

According to the Make in China 2035, plan it seems they will ban Intel products and use own domestic chips in virtually all systems.

Intel would be wrecked since more than 60% of their profits come from china.

The day is not far when all we'll need is 5-10 minute top-ups to get through the day. No need to charge the phone at a specific time for a specific period. That'll be convenient.

TEtech, 04 Jan 2021i have the p40 pro and i never encountered such thingMy friend Mate 30 Pro measures the Watts power at just around 20 - 30W, it never reaches 40W. The charging time is similar to when an 33W Poco X3 reacges 93%, which is 58 minutes, still impressive though. But 30W is far off the claim of 40W. And the Poco has an 13% larger battery

Should be 20x6.75A in the paragraph "way up to 20V/3.25A equating to the mind-boggling 135W rate".

Huawei is the pioneer of the fast charging solution. Wired or wireless, aside from Oppo and Xiaomi.
They were the first to introduce 10W, 22.5W, 40W Wired charging that broke the industry standards.
They did it with wireless too, 15W, 27W, 40W and 50W
But however, their claims are too much when compared to the reality, some people said that their 40W brick gives only 27W to the phone wired, even though the phone is at 20% battery level. Which is far off the claimed mark. So i don't really believe the 66W mark, maybe it is just 50W.

Hauwei... Is right up there still... Amazing how this company still pushes forward stronger.

Things are looking good for Huawei.

Bery good. Qualcomm and mediatek can supply SoC's for Huawei.

They have a very good OS called harmony OS.

Best cameras. Best chargers too. Awesome phones... Even with all the American pressure... Look at Huawei's achievements.

And without pressure. Look at the most boring phone in the world... IPhone 12 series...

Imagine Apple under pressure. They would collapse.
