I find it ironic a week after HTC brass says they're releasing "amazing" products this year, their latest device gets leaked...
...running Android 10
Could this be another Wildfire? But the back being patterned is more like a Desire.
Whackcar, 06 Jan 2021That was a typo in the previous post. I meant to write 15-20 years every time. Samsung started... moreOK. I agree with you, they indeed started to be a stronger brand in 2008, 2009. They had some very nice camera phones, I am not sure if you remember the I8510 Innov. It was a a pretty good phone as far I know(slider, with 2.8 inches display), 8 MP camera, 16 GB of internal storage.
Anonymous, 06 Jan 2021Stop acting like as if you're 100 years in the time! Lol. Yeah I was young but enough old... moreEither we live in alternate universes, or one of us is incorrect, and that isn't me.
In any case, it would be pointless to argue any further.
@Gsmarena Staff, would you stop cens0ring me? I'm THIS close to quitting your website.
A carbon fiber back would be nice instead of plastic or breakable glass and no one does all metal
If HTC thinks they can attract customers with an average phone and a strange green back, they need to go back to the drawing board.

Yeah I was young but enough old to remember things even more than you.. I was very much vehicles and phone fabia in the time.. We got mobile like Nokia and Motorola and models are n71 and razer and guess what my brother got two Samsung phones were better than my father's Nokia and Motorola.. I very much believe I drew up phone with multiple cameras a loooot before HTC one m8..Ever went to a college? I doubt..

I meant to write 15-20 years every time. Samsung started becoming relevant since 2008/2009 i think (that's 13/12 years). They started selling like hotcakes after the launch of S2 & Note Series back in 2011 i believe.
Whackcar, 06 Jan 2021Yeah, that's why i specifically said 10-15 years. I know Samsung (& LG, HTC, etc) wer... moreYou said 15-20 years ago by the way bro. I am curious what will be the future of HTC. To be honest I would like them to be back on the game, but I am not sure they can actually do that.
How is HTC not bankrupt yet? They have been dying for years!
Mobilemaster, 06 Jan 2021Maybe back in 2005/2006 Samsung was not a popular brand, but in 2008 they started to rise. I r... moreYeah, that's why i specifically said 10-15 years. I know Samsung (& LG, HTC, etc) were popular 10-13 years back. Out of those, Samsung is the only one still selling a lot. In fact they're the best-selling smartphone brand these recent years. A few flop products could change that though.
Anonymous, 06 Jan 2021It will still be Samsung and Apple.Xiaomi is going too fast. It may overtake them.

You were probably too young back then, so you don't remember the facts. I remember them. That's all.
Refreshing back design. I hope HTC will make a high-end device for this year, and price it well!

[deleted post]Oh. Now you mention it. I think I read about it in the history books.
Somethings not right. Tbh HTC not rebounding won't explain it all. I mean is it possible that China is blocking HTC to be successful or something like that?
redmi5a, 06 Jan 2021What's so unusual in design on this? This looks pretty average.Just a click bait title... Yet another ordinary slab.
