i0S...Never...Again, 07 Jan 2021Then why isn't Samsung bringing it on their S21 Ultra as it would have the 888 as well? I'm not sure...maybe Exynos hasn't the features and Sammy doesn't want to bring a feature on US model and not on EU's

I should spend some time to analyse this new Exynos

These features are linked to Dimensity's hardware capabilities (1000, 820, 800)

      Snapdragon 865 doesn't have this feature...only 888 has.

2 - yes I'm agree, brighter doesn't always mean better...what is important is details.

        2 things.
1- Don't all phones use a form of AI or processing (which is essentially what AI is) to capture the best details / ideal photo?
2- Why, again, WHY are we taking all the darkness out of our pictures and highlighting everything so it doesn't look natural? To me it's a useless feature.

Somehow I like the dark video more, it looks... natural.

It's more linked to SOC manufacturers than Chinese OEM...

Qualcomm just includes it on Snapdragon 888
But it was available on last year's Dimensity 1000, 820 and 800...

If OEM did a better job, we allready have it about 6 months ago on devices such as Redmi K30 Ultra or Realme X7 Pro.

We already have video night mode thanks to Chinese manufacturers.
And they say Chinese don't innovate... SMH!!!

The one on Mi 11 is great. Huge difference in illuminating a particular scene in pitch dark conditions without flash. Detail levels will improve with time.
But it's better to have bright usable footage than a dark unusable one.

Too much marketing and zero substance. Those 2mp modules should go first.

Macro + Depth = No thanks. I'll go for a good telephoto optical camera at that price.
