The president set's up a council / team to investigate legitimacy of said threat.
Council / team finds potential threat and goes back to the president.
President issues an order to ban huawei products.

The media never said anything good about Trump because he wasn't "the candidate" of their overlords. While they cover-up for anything that would make their candidate look bad (in 2016, it was Hillary, in 2020, It was Biden)
Trump is a dictator, that's what the media says... Based on what? He struck a peace deal and avoided war with so many countries like Iran and North Korea.
Obama on other other hand bombed several countries (which are a failed state today), resulting in ISIS and other groups to surface, gave rise to the massive immigration problem in Europe and yet wins the Nobel prize for peace (because he was their candidate).

We're supposed to live in a civilized world: irresponsible people don't have the right to incite violence and private platforms have the right to decide rules of civility which you agree to as terms of service for using that private platform for free.
By your logic no website would have the right to ban anyone for anything.

As if the NSA did n... moreI do believe the situation with Huawei will change now that Biden is in charge. Biden has strong ties with China & hence he wouldn't do anything to damage that relationship.
As a supporter of Huawei, I'm ok with that. Hopefully we'll be seeing more Kirin chipsets after all.
