I think Rich communication method makes SMS app more like chat app. We can share everything with anyone. Have to take first initial step. But no more whatsapp again

Ok, I can make my close friends use those apps. But, I have contacts from work, from the place I live in renting. And I need to keep in contact with them. Also, I can't force these people to use Telegram or Signal because they are not my friends, they are just people I know and need to communicate with sometimes.
So, this is the case for me. And I am pretty sure other people are in the same situation. I do not like Whatsapp, but I am kinda forced to use it.

Problem with this kind of apps, they are good as long as they are known or used by many people.
But, as the user database grows, then other problems start to occur. Telegram CEO already said some weeks ago that they will start putting adds in Telegram to manage (in other words they need more money to sustain that growing database). I am expecting Telegram to be like Whatsapp in time.
Each app was ok in the beginning (even Facebook), until it became mainstream, then money money money happens. Lol.
