The next phone was a flat screen and kept alternating . So the bottom line is that I found them both to be great and its good to have variety at times.

Dara, 11 Jan 20216.81" display perfectly works for me, but I prefer flat screen even at the same price. What makes you prefer a flat screen out of interest.?

I nearly didn't buy my Mi10 because there are so many negative comments about curved screens on here, though I've yet to find any disadvantages.

I expect when I have to replace the factory Hydrogel Screen Protector this might be an issue depending on fit and longevity of aftermarket ones, as the factory versions do not seem to be available, but I would never go back to a flat screen after using the mi10

It is indeed a great device. You can't call it a device with midrange specs. Honestly, smartphones have not gone so far that you need to spend over 250£. Then, why are premium devices important?? Many people want best quality device. That's the key reason. You don't need high resolution screen for Photoshop or high refresh rate screen. That's fine. But, how on Earth are you thinking of nano memory card although you can afford a flagship device? Even, 150£ phones now have 128 GB. Most importantly, you can't use nano memory card. You can boast of your device having 8K60 video. But it will never match 4K video quality by a 500$ camera. Every phone isn't intended for every person. I know other factors might be important for you for choosing Huawei. But you can't call Mi 11 a bad device. I am not telling you to buy Mi 11. I am just forbidding you to smash other devices unknowingly.

Mediatek sux, 11 Jan 2021Golden reviewer did a gaming test, its as good as an sd855 in gaming. Technick did a battery d... moreIt has to be "as good as an sd855 in gaming", because SDM865 outperforms the SDM755 Plus (the "plus", as the regular becomes obsolete the very moment the incremental upgrade happens) and SDM755 Plus only has "Higher GPU frequency (~7%)".

So, again, the point is to get a device with the Snapdragon 865 Plus and, otherwise, something like the OnePlus 7T Pro is just fine (even though SDM865 has "29% higher memory bandwidth" for example), until the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro /Ultra drops; and this time, hopefully, an Ultra could go Global?! :)

*problems with Xiaomi *will* remain, though, as long as they're sticking to USB 2.0 (slow and obsolete) and, also, any model with the "Macro" camera is always out of the question: 90% of the time, 99% of users will not ever (!) use the macro lens - Xiaomi have to, just, stop -stubbornly- putting it on there, lolz. xD
