It's a covert way to sabotage old phones, slow them down, and create problems. But I love Apple, so I will go along with their game and buy a new Apple device.

I wouldn't take the risk for just 100 dollars. It's a safer bet to go for the entry level iPad. Fantastic performance, guarantee to get updates for many years and much better ecosystem and apps than Android.

I feel like every mobile device phone/tablet lenovo outs is lagging. Not sure if it's chipset or what. I'm also worried about updates.
I would probably go with Samsung as I hate lagging and use tablet 5+ years.

I like my Lenovo Tab 3 Pro. It didn't many software updates, stuck on 7.1.1.

Nowadays (global) tablet market dominated by Samsung and Apple, but even the new 'affordable' Samsung tablets are overpriced though they have only 3GB of RAM and weak Exynos chipset.

If your device had sd650, then it supports upto quad hd.

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2021The reason for the resolution is because that's approaching the max capability of the SOC... moreI have 2 tablets running on 6xx series, one of them is from last year and one of them is from 2016, and both could handle a higher resolution just fine. And if it is making the tablet a little bit slower, it is also fine, as most people don't playing heavy games etc on midrangers, and nowadays the midrangers are still pretty fast

Higher and you may have lag... But then again, I foresee this to be a laggy machine.
